We keep our house 55-57 during the winter. It keeps visitors from coming by often. Throws and poly fleece sweatshirts are a must. You can get fairly, well almost, adjusted to it. Thats pretty much the temp from early November til mid April.

I used to get a cold every November but since I started vaping I've only had one in three years.

We have our thermostat set for 55 at night, and 50 while we are at work.

Currently 63 in the house. Not too bad. Normally I come home and take layers off, no need today. I tend to just put a hat on and then wear my robe over my clothes if I get too cold. We each have a Slanket, which is a much better quality version of a Snuggie, and I'll grab that when I'm really cold.

Sadly, the HVAC guy didn't have a blower that would fit, so he's ordering one, which should be in on Monday. Maybe by then we will have adjusted and can set the thermostat lower from now on.

I don't think I would do well in your climate. I have socks and sweats with a blanket on the couch and the thermostat is set to a frigid 68 here

It is really nice out today so the windows are open at a perfect 69 degrees.

But then we do suffer with hundred and teen temps all summer, so I guess I am just geared towards the hotter temps. It is a smart choice to get used to warmer temps, electricity to cool is much more expensive than gas to heat ;)

Near Dallas Texas
At David's seafood grill in town. 1 martini to dull the pain and fresh, not frozen catch of day. Bombing great room for 3rd time, for mites, as forgot to set off the two near DH's mancave.

We are toxic!!!! The place, apartment, out of town where DH works, bombed his apartment Thursday. I asked him if they aired it out before he got there after work Thr. All he said is he's still breathing and has a pulse.

At least we probably won't get heartworms.:D We've done two treatments of Ivermectin this month for scabies. That's what you give dogs for heartworm prevention.

MAIN THING IS DAVID'S NOW ALLOWS VAPING ALL OVER RESTURAUNT !!!!!

Typically hate Mahi Mahi but this hasn't been frozen and very good. Slaw great; not a creamy dressing.

Love all, Feisty
