Good morning, Reonauts! I've gotta say, you and me both with getting the sleep cycle more on track, Val:p. Morning started at 12:30 AM for me today, but it is AM, so that's a start, right:laugh:? I'm tutoring all five of my ESL students today (three separate sessions) and hopefully volunteering on the doggie shampoo van again, so I see multiple pots of coffee in my future. Dave actually approved of the last kitty video I saw fit to post, and my very strange uncle, Pete (gotta tell you more about him sometime soon:blink:), just sent me one of some very zen cats, indeed, so I thought I'd pass it on...

Hope you all have a lovely Tuesday!!

This is so very cool. Thanks. Hugs, Alice

The puter tower sound like it's gasping for it's last breath! Maybe giving it a week's break will revive it a bit, tho I highly doubt it, the thing's about 4-5 years old, and in this day n age, that's ancient...pisses me right off!I might be back later today...but I'm kinda scared to run it right now....

We'll talk about computer options over me oysters and Beer-rita, and you major jacked up baked potato, on deck at The Oasis. I can point you in direction of some really great priced refurb notebooks. That's all I buy any more. In most cases they are returned new units, re-certified, and at amazingly low prices.

Less than 24 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hugs, Feisty

{edit} The computer I'll have for your use in your bedroom here is an 8 year old Mac iBook. Works great except it has to stay plugged in as battery shot. But if you want to be mobile Galaxy Tab 10.1" is sparkly new and fun.

I just got my Reo grand and I must say I don't know why I waited so long to get one. I love this thing. Currently topped with a 1.5ohm HH .357 and is performing AWESOME. Just wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone for I am sure I will be a regular visitor here now. Hope everyone is having a great day.

Congratulations and welcome! Don't let the crazy people here scare you. We are very harmless, I promise! Hope to see you back soon...

My sleeping schedule is majorly screwed up. I didn't go to bed until 3 this morning. Morning folks, I think...

Surgery did that to me also, all the pain and not being able to walk. I can understand completely! I am trying melatonin to reset my clock, so far it hasn't worked out. I am also trying to STOP napping

I hope you get back to normal soon!

Morning Jeni! It is looking like a few warm days here also this week. Up to 85 on Wed. Night time dipping down to 53. Then we will get 70's and high 60's for awhile. Overall pretty nice. As long as I don't have to turn the furnace at night I am fine.

Enjoy your day, hope you get the work you need!

Glad you are getting some nice warm weather. 85F is crazy. High here, today 86, tomorrow 83, Thursday 59 with night low 41. That's even more crazy for this time of year.

Enjoy your nice weather. Hopefully nights will be cool enough house will stay cool enough without using AC.

Hugs, Alice

Thanks for asking. I have been doing the PT exercises and it gets swollen and painful. Yesterday it just ached so badly I got out the heating pad and that did wonders for it. I am not sure if I am making any progress with the swelling being a set back, but I did 5 minutes of stepping on my 4" step which may not seem very long, but it really is considering that about a week ago I couldn't do ONE step!

In fact, I think I am doing well enough that I even checked flights to Dallas for Friday after PT, and returning Sunday so I can be at my Dr. appt Monday. I found some flights, but they were cost prohibitive.

Good Morning REOvillians!

Would have loved having you here. Sorry. You will be in our thoughts. As there are only two beds down you would have had to share a bed with Jack first night  or bunk out on the floor with me or sofa. I think most would prefer sofa and they do look comfy. Six of the eight queen beds are up stairs in lofts.

I use a melatonin blend almost every night. I didn't know this until I got a bottle from some internet source, after trying patches, and they recommended every couple of months not using it for a week.

On nights when I absolutely have to get some sleep and arise at a "normal" time I'll take some benadryl in addition. Occasionally even 10 mg valium. After using melatonin for a few months it no longer made me very sleepy. Mostly it helps to keep me from waking every hour.

I am thinking that maybe I am not taking enough. The first time I tried it, I took the max dose and it worked very well, too well in fact. I felt almost hung over the next day, so I then dropped the dose and it isn't enough. I am working it out

Me too! It seems like I've been off from work FOREVER. It hasn't even been 3 full weeks yet. I'm weight restricted for the next 3 weeks to 10lbs which makes things interesting. Anyhow, I go back to the Doc tomorrow and should get an idea of when I can go back to work. I know I'm off for 3 more weeks for sure, but she may want 5 more. So, it's just wait and see here.

Oh, smitty is used to a few mixed nuts in the HHV Army:laugh:! This is my first and main non-musical nook of the forum, but HHV has some mighty fine juice and some mighty fine vapers who love it, including our newest Reonaut. Congrats, pal:toast:!

So precisely when are folks due in for the big REO meet? Who'll be there? How long is it for? Yes, I could just read the thread devoted to it, but I've admitted to being part sloth/part human before:p!

Hey there smithighe, RedhatPat here. Welcome to reoville and to the wonderful tasty world of bottom juice feeding direct dripping! I think I remember seeing you somewhere else onecf, maybe supporting members photo thread? The reo-vets here can't be topped, good folks to laugh or cry with. They must be doin' something right 'cause I'm still here!

Feel free to ask questions, I always say it's better to ask a stupid question than to make a stupid mistake. Plus that Free Index was a lifesaver that Lisa put together http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/270331-free-reo-forum-thread-index.html but if you're ever pressed for time and need and answer quick, look for the monkeys, thats all I'm gonna say.

I, also, found that different brands had different action. The first week I took it I used what DD sometimes gives the kids. Konked me out in minutes and I had to reduce the dosage to half what the kids took. When I got home, just a few days later, one brand gave me some hangover next day and another just right, at same dosages. Patches were a major money suck and no better. Same with time release.

Here's what I use. https://www.prohealth.com/shop/prod...B1=GGLFBSLEP&gclid=CMze5ZDy8rYCFQFx4AodmyAAEw

Here's what I use for my FM. We've been taking it for years but not until my FM became really serious did I start taking it religiously three times a day. I'm nearly symptom free now.

BTW.... we've used this for geriatric 200lb arthritic Mastiffs with great success. Probably extended their lives by a year or more as it helped so much with arthritis, mostly spinal (common with Mastiffs as they get really old), that caused impingement of nerves and weakness in back legs. That somewhat proves some positive benefits using it as the dogs had no idea they were supposed to be helped by it; no placebo affect. https://www.prohealth.com/shop/product.cfm/product__code/PH119

It's anti-inflammatory affects do help me with allergies.

The sofa seems to be where I get my best sleep at home, so that would have actually been my preference. I like to have my movement restricted by the back of it because I turned over once in bed and about screamed my head off it hurt so bad. I keep a pillow between my legs now when I actually make it to sleep in the bed. You don't need a screaming banshee waking up the entire gazabo!

I just couldn't find a flight for a reasonable fare. I needed to leave LAX Friday after 6 pm (and that was pushing it since PT is at 2 pm and with Friday evening traffic on the 405...) and return Sunday afternoon so I could make an 8 am Dr. appt 70 miles from home the next morning. I couldn't find anything under $600 with the fees and no 2 hour layover somewhere (I would have arrived at the airport around midnight, then drive the 100 miles), and then needed to rent a car, give you some help with the gazebo rental, buy something for the pot luck etc. It was looking like over $1000 for a very rushed weekend, and I just couldn't justify that since I haven't worked in 2.5 years! Had I been able to book earlier I could have probably saved on the fare, but since I wasn't able to judge the progress on my leg I didn't want to jump into it too soon and end up suffering.

I should add something about sleeping with Jack being worth it :laugh:
