I'm finding the spring is the primary problem on the negative side.

Surprisingly enough, I had the thought to put the battery in backward, and lost a good portion of the formerly positive contact voltage drop.

That is why the new sub-ohm kit that Rob is putting out contains a new spring with significantly less voltage drop (it is made of beryllium copper, if I remember correctly). It also contains a new positive contact. There is a thread where people have modded the Reo to use a automotive fuse rather than the spring.. See this thread. Or, you could do your own thing, or wait for the mod kit to come out.

We have a little restaurant in our town called the Homefront Cafe whos theme is World War II. Being Veterans Day it seems like a good time to show some pics from the cafe.

Old letters from the soldiers to back home, ration stamps, posters etc fill the place. And the food is good.

Everyday we think of our son and pray but holidays like this one we have the grandkids over to spend some time. I can't help but think of Jack today and remember the feel good times he gave us. He too is included in our prayers.

We just got back from the VFW. Paid our tribute to all the vets (DH included).

The crowd wasn't as big as we expected. They used to employ a real cook there instead of someone who just got her food certificate and the place used to be packed. I think she is trying to kill the membership off with her terrible food choices? Apparently everyone else felt the same way and didn't bother to show up

I am beside myself with upset right now.

Stuck at work and got some bad news.

My 15 year old grandson was jumped by 4 males early to late teens. They had a gun and were taunting him as he walked home from school.

He kept ignoring them and walking till they ran up from behind and cold cocked him in the head. Then punched and kicked him to the ground. Stole his shoes and ripped through his back pack. He made it home after they left.

My daughter got him to the emergency room after a ordeal of cops and trying to identify the teens.

Still waiting to hear what all is wrong. Was told his face, jaw is very swollen. Knees scraped down to 3rd degree burn level.

Please send any prayers, vibes, whatever you can this way. My daughter is very upset and I am worried she will not let this go.

Wish I could be with them now.

Karen I wish I could do what we did to the kids that did same to my little brother many years ago. Although not really sanctioned by the police they told me they would see a thing for a little while they held to their word and let me have a go at them all. End of the problem they never even looked sideways at brother again one of them even apologized to my brother several years later.
I hope the boys ok and they get the ....s
