Oh boy, Karen, that is horrible news!This ole world is really becoming horrible. Please tell your daughter and grandson that there are tons of good vibes and mojo coming to them and you from all of us.
Please keep us informed of all of them and yourself. I know you wish you could be right by their sides at this terrible time.
And I truly hope that they catch those nasty lowlife cowardly creeps and throw them in jail with the REALLY bad guys.

Karen, i am so sorry to hear about this happening to your grandson! My thoughts are with him and your family. Those little punks WILL get theirs, karma is a b!tch for people like that.

Just now got word from my other daughter. They are leaving the hospital.
No broken bones. Concussion, pretty bad damage to his knees, bruises and swelling.
It could have been a lot worse. The thought of a gun being shown leaves me breathless.

Seems this group of punks was the second to confront him. The others, with a gun, were bothering him last week.

I am so sorry this happened! I sure do hope he got a look at them and recognizes them.
I don't know the laws really, but wouldn't cold cocking someone with a GUN and threatening them with it during the commission of a robbery be a big fat jail sentence? I sure as heck hope so. They need to be taken away from society. I hope they are caught and tried as adults.

Karen I can not even imagine getting a call like that. As a Mother and Grandmother myself I feel awful for you, your daughter and grandson. Many prayers and hugs for you all. It is sad that it is scary just sending your children to school these days.

Thoughts and Prayers going out to your family. My Gosh, I don't believe what this world has come to. It's ridiculous! I hope they find those animals and charge them as adults. Better yet, drop them in the middle of REOville. I (and I'm sure many others here) have NO TOLERANCE for cowardly violent acts like that. I'm so sorry this happened to him, Karen.

Very quick drive by. I apologize not catching up.
Got my braces off today. Amazing freedom. I have top and bottom permanent retainers, on back side front teeth and will get clear "gel" retainers next week. Feels really fantastic.
DH and I signed lease agreement and deposit on retirement community apartment today. I cannot begin to express how excited I am. No attached garages available but non attached only a few yards away. Will be able to move big freezer and almost new fridge there, to garage, shelves on sides and room for one car. Taking two dogs, Moe Doodle and Lily Heeler, and Jake Mastiff is service dog so he doesn't count. Pet deposit stiff at $750. Right out front porch is grassy area for potties and short walk to huge greenway belt with trails. First thing on list is to get "tricycle" to run the dogs. Garage rental starts Monday and move in lease begins Dec 2. It will take me a couple of months to get house pared down but want to get DH in ASAP so he doesn't have to deal with dispersing 50+ years of "life".We will be rehoming Rosie Heeler and Curly Doodle, the two most sociable, with other peeps and the two judged most able to deal with such a big life change. I'm taking my time and will go to prospective homes and get their background and any references possible. I'll go there to check them out before agreeing to rehoming. The place is really amazing. We met several people who all gave such high recommendations and encouraged us to move there. We will be on back side with almost no traffic. My friend, Teddie already lives there. It's only about 8 miles from out town.
Gotta run. Still lots to do tonight before collapsing. Beaming out all kinds of good, wellness, and healing.
BTW... the outdoors spa heats up really fast. They have all kinds of activities, a hair salon, a huge activity center, a huge movie theater, exercise room, billiards room, etc... I'll probably be volunteering for some of the daily trips out to different stores, to be a young'n helping, in their bus, and hopefully some on site doggie training. Oh yeah, "old timers" yoga classes, too, among other activities. Kaypers, you know about all this stuff.

Sorry to hear that, Karen...I'm actually praying for your daughter. Your grandson will be okay after a while. Just hope your daughter can keep her temper in check. If she's anything like me, she's on the road lookin for a fight. Ugh...get's my hackles up just thinking about it.
I seriously don't know how I've stayed out of jail all these years....the one time doesn't count...I was a minor. Crossing my fingers for a karma intervention.
