BTW.... Just to get this out there and not a "for sale". I may have to sell some of my REOs, including my beloved Woods. I've gotta think on it, though. DH really needs a new leather, tall man recliner. LazyBoy is having a sale, on top of a sale, right now. Even sale prices are pretty stiff. I'm gonna see if DD wants to go in with me on it. DH is saying we need to use any monies for move and just plain living expenses and no purchases that aren't absolutely necessary. Closing up the leg/foot rest on his just about cripples me and the side arm/lever is really stressful on my well healed but still torn should rotator cuff; the one I spent 6 months, 3 days a week therapy for. DH has a totally torn shoulder rotator in both arms that he never had repaired. I'm worried he may cause more injury in that damn recliner. I consider preventing that a necessity.

Good morning all I think I'm pulling the trigger on a grand today.

I think it's what I need to completely quit .

What's the consensus on wicks for the rm2? Cotton or ekowool

I've tried all of it and currently running cotton mainly because it's so easy to change out and super cheap but the down side is that it burns if you don't keep it wet

Thanks to you both. Do wrap your coils around a 1/16 drill bit? I assume most of you use 28 gauge.

How much cotton are you using. I'm practicing on a igo-w right now in preparation

No fun when money is tight, especially when you need to make a purchase like that. I hope you find a solution that doesn't involve you parting with any of your Reos.

Yes 1/16“ drill bit wire gauge depends what I'm putting it on for my VV Grand I use 30 gauge nichrome and cuz I'm shooting for something between 1.5-2.0 ohm everything else gets 27-28 gauge since I'm shooting for around 1 ohm or a little under
