Off-topic a bit but I had a bad reaction to the nicotine patch back in the day when I was trying to quit smoking. The Patch left a patch-size welt on my skin that lasted for close to a week after I removed it. Didn't matter--wouldn't have worked anyway.

Make sure you let medical staff know that should you ever be in the position to do so. It was the adhesive, and we can use a different type.

Cold here too, shrimp and grits on the menu for tonight mmmm :)

I would love to try that sometime.

I tried grits once, and they must not have been done right. It was bland porridge consistency stuff with no shrimp or seasoning. Just gummy nothingness. That can't be right, too many people love them?

Good tip. Thanks.:)

Good evening Roger!

Val is right about the adhesive. I have had marks left behind from many things with adhesive. Sometimes a bandage with tape can make an injury worse just from the reaction. After my surgeries I learned to ask them to stick with hypo-allergic tape.

Hi Karen!
Thanks for the input. Its odd because I'd never reacted negatively to anything before (except my in-laws).

Darrel, you saying that got me to thinking about a mild irritation I've acquired from time to time from the waistband of my polypropylene long-johns. I wonder if these occurrences could be related?
