Godd Day Fine REO Folk. Heading over to new place with car stuffed. Didn't go back over yesterday as soooooooo exhausted, really crummy weather, my hip was killing me, and DH and I wanted to be together for assanation day and do marathon TVing about.

Weather still crummy and next few days freezing precipitation. I shouldn't have issues driving as new place only 9 miles and most roads pretty busy.

Jen, fabulous news!!!!!

Val, I have no idea if you can use Barkeepers Friend on your pot but it is safe for porcelain and earthenware and doesn't break down the underglaze substance. I've been using it for years on antiques including crazed. It takes out spotting, rust, steel marks, etcn without damaging. Worth taking a look at.

Kaypers, still haven't opened box.

Found one brand new, high quality, lighted wreath in garage Sissy and I missed so don't have to spend a penny for Christmas door decore.

Pierced ears...... I can wear 24 carat gold. I forget about surgical steel but I have slight reaction to titanium. Thats what they use for replacement joints and other internal things like bolts, plates etc. I wear earings about ever five years. Same as you Darrel, very risky getting caught on things. I have one top hole, in cartlidge. I can't wear even the tiniest stud wearing hats or sleeping as it is painful.

Luckily my night time teeth retainers are not silicone rather a clear plastic. I'm allergic to silicone. Who in the hell is allergic to silicone and titanium!!!????!!!

Find and give some happy.

I did two small pork loin roast in crock pot yesterday. Used dehydrated onion soup mix, can of can of diced tomatoes, and large package of GF dehydrated pototoe leek soup base; whatever I could scrounge fom cabinet. And generous amount of Worceste. Turned out shockingly fabulous. I let DH have some and he complimented. He's slowly redeeming himself.

Find and give some happy.

I make up my own chili spice mix so I have it when I want it. Sometimes I will use a can of Rotel, which has the green chilis in it. I really dislike chopping peppers. Like an idiot I made the mistake years ago of rubbing my eye after chopping some. I hate making the same painful mistakes twice

I decided to make a pot of soup instead. He has to go to the grocery store for vegetables, that is his penance for ruining the chili. The stuff I want isn't at costco. I should just stop cooking for him like Alice does. But I like to have a nice pot of something on rainy days so I will just have to get over it by cooking something even he can't ruin :glare:

I have some, love the gentleness of it. I can also use good old baking soda, but once the enamel has gone dark, it just can't be undone. Sadly. Le Creseut makes a cleaner, but I have never bought it because I didn't need it, I just rinse the thing then let it soak a few minutes and gunk slides right out with no scrubbing. Unless you burn it on apparently :glare:

ya i can wear surgical steel also any plated stuff are a big no no

Off-topic a bit but I had a bad reaction to the nicotine patch back in the day when I was trying to quit smoking. The Patch left a patch-size welt on my skin that lasted for close to a week after I removed it. Didn't matter--wouldn't have worked anyway.
I was born to be a vaper.:)
