Mornin REOville! Weather here in my little part of paradise is currently 13 with a forecast high of 20. I'd be in trouble without fleece pajama bottoms and sweatshirts, my office kind of sticks out the back of my house and it gets cold in here. Yesterday I was working with one fleece afghan on my lap and one around my shoulders like a shawl, but I still prefer this to the humid hot summers we get here.
Yay, it's Friday~hope it's busier than yesterday, I kept nodding off all afternoon, even coffee didn't help. Take Care REOville!

Healing thoughts out to everyone on the sick and injured list
I have been thinking of Becky lately, she said she wanted to go up to the mountains and the snow since she had never been. I hope she finds her way back here since I said I would take her to Big Bear, it's 14 degrees up there and Snow Summit is scheduled to open today. Not that I will ever ski again

19° here...9° if you factor in wind. Office is cold, got my long johns on under my jammies and it's still not cutting it.

Well, I must say it is positively stifling hot at 22 degrees here compared to your guys' 19!
But I really shouldn't kid around, it is supposed to be wet here tomorrow
ETA: I just asked Siri, "will it snow tomorrow?" and got "Yes, it's going to snow tomorrow". WTH? We don't get snow here, who didn't get the memo!!

Good morning, REOvil! Christmas shopping is done, tree is up, it's cold outside, piles of hot tea, cocoa & coffee, blankets and a stack of movies. Happy Friday indeed!

Do you have any venison bourguignon or did you toss it? I am dying to know. I kept thinking, well, she works in a kitchen that serves others but home cooking doesn't have to be so stringent on the quality control. So, what did you do?

Ya...that's weird. Maybe Siri called in sick the day that memo went out. Just heard from our friends in Lynden...it's 20° there but the wind is blowing about 50mph.
I looked at it. Smelled it. Heated it.
Then threw it out.
Just couldn't do it. Still have enough ingredients to make another pot except the cremini mushrooms, so not worth the risk. Especially since I want to share with Mom, Sister and neighbor.
Well, if you sniffed it and it was off then there is no question about it! Sorry you had to toss it.
That happened with one of my beef stew type things too, and even though it wasn't venison my heart still broke because it was so good and only gets better 2nd day. I blamed DH since the deal is this: I do the cooking and cleaning and he puts the food away so he knows where it is. If I put it away, he won't find it and eat it and it ends up getting tossed in a couple days anyway
