Howdy Scott..that was Jan. ;)

Made venison bourguignon last night in anticipation of today's cold front. Tasted it last night and oh...so very, very good. Around 8 p.m. I turned it off, but left it on the stove to cool down for a bit before putting it in the fridge. Woke up on the couch at 3:30 a.m. and it was still sitting on stove.
Having a hard time throwing it in the trash.

Can you get it up to a boil? Maybe add water to boil off, once it hits boiling for about 15 minutes it should be fine. I gotta tell you, I do it with soup frequently, and haven't poisoned anyone (yet). It sometimes gets left on the stove and when DH gets up he finds it. Like I did last night, and just put in the fridge after boiling it

I would think it would be fine after a good heat up, though I wouldn't recommend making a habit out of it. But venison bourguignon soup doesn't sound all THAT bad, and if you boil off some of the water back to a gravy...

And some Thursday nights I serve dinner at about 5:30 and my brother (the weird one) will keep his plate of food next to him until midnight then eat more. I keep telling him he can just get more later but he says his eyes are bigger than his stomach. You would think he would be able to figure it out in 60 years? He never tells me he gets sick from what I feed him so that is out for 6 hours... then he packs it up, goes to a midnight movie, and drives home and so I would guess 8 - 10 hours of time and he still puts it in his fridge and eat it days later. I wouldn't recommend that BTW, I am just letting you know that it may not be a total loss.

You know that the southern accent wasn't even around until after the Civil War? The affectation was taken on in order to differentiate themselves from the North after they lost the war (or so it was said on the show about the States that I watched). I thought that was interesting, but not sure of the validity of it. Either way, she needs some speech therapy

ha ha ha ha

Y'all can all get off my lawn!

Seriously, you haven't heard an accent until you've been in east Texas, or even worse- deep east Texas. When I moved a few hours away folks were constantly asking where I was from, and I was still in Texas!

I was born in the south (suburbs of Atlanta). Where I live now in the foothills of the Appalachia there are some far-out accents. Sometimes I cannot understand what someone is saying no matter how hard I try, seriously. When I first moved here I was being trained at my new job by a guy who claimed to live in a "Holler" I finally had to ask for another person to show me the ropes because this guy seriously spoke another language. I do love a pretty girl sporting a southern accent though :vapor:

Thats because you don't want to hear what she has to say anyway. :)

Good Day Fine REO Folk. Apologize for absence; in frantic, overwhelmed mode (but no time to react to "overwhelmed) with move. Being laid up with Flu for five days was major disrupting. Movers doing big move Monday. All day and that's just the really big and/or heavy stuff. Will have them move and store stuff DD wants but haven't had time to take pictures and email her about all.

Freezing, precipitation coming (but probably ice storms and not snow - the kind that takes down power lines and trees with resulting transformers blowing all over - lovely weather for moving) and teens temps freezing is not helping. I had to do a lot of winterizing last night and forgot a few things so will be doing it tonight in really crappy, windy weather.

Jake Mastiff is going to his new home tomorrow night, weather permitting. They have three dogs but probably sending intact male Pit Bull back to his original home. So, hopefully Jake will be living with female Pit Bull and Chihuahua, both spayed. I spent last night at new place, with two Heeler girls. DH said Jake has been really whiny. We are, also, rehoming both Doodles. I just can't handle more than two here at new place. Just typing about Jake or thinking about has me in tears.

Hope all are doing reasonably well.

Find and give some happy.

Love and hugs, The Feisty

OMG, I'm dizzy right now. My 600 ml of Alien Vision juice arrived today :)

Digging that I got 6 big bottle for the price of 4 ...... and ..............

My first Boba's in almost a year ........ Mmmmm its like riding a bike, you never forget. I downed at least 1000 ml of the stuff over the last 3 years and it never tasted so good. I also went back up to 18mg after a few months at 12mg ..... I was just vaping non stop at 12mg ...... I think I was getting more nic than ever.

This is an awesome day, 6 new flavors all in one shot. Got two REOs rebuilt and loaded up ...... I plan on having all 6 flavors running by the end of the night.

Well thats me, hope your all doing well too.

hows your day going Mike ?

The shoulder is a bit sorer today. That is due to the nerve block having completely worn off. I have been doing the recommended excercises and I got out to run a few errands and get my physical therapy scheduled (I start on Tuesday). I have been trying to get away with the smaller pain pills, but that really hasn't worked very well today so I may have to keep using the Percocet for the near future. I am going to try Val's suggestion about using the Benadryl to try and sleep tonight as it took me almost 4 hours to fall asleep last night :( Other than that, life is grand ;)
