My less abled grandson, has Down syndrome, & health issues,
One of the health issues, is something called floppy throat, he's 5, & has never eaten anything more than a kids yogurt, he's fed a weird milk, through a peg in his stomach
Due to this throat issue, he can't talk, & is learning sign language
When I saw him this morning, it took him a good while, but he signed LOVE YOU GRANDAD,
Still choking me up thinking about it,
We take being healthy, & whole far too much for granted

Merry Christmas REOville! Congratulations Dturp!!! She is lovely! Frank, that is one of the nicest things I have heard, you are truly a lucky Grandpa! Jen and Kay, hope you are having good food and good company today. I had lunch with my family, my nieces get prettier every time I see them. Hope all have a Happy Christmas today.
Well, the 1st shift is over. Daughter has come and gone, son #2 lives here and asleep from the Christmas spread Mamaw once again put forth. Mamaw napping too. Son #1 will be by later, once he can drag his wife away from her family long enough to come say Merry Christmas to his Mom. Hopefully he will bring his three kids, although that's not guaranteed.
Mamaw's Christmas meal; Turkey, Ham, Mashed 'Taters & Gravy, Crockpot Mac & 3 Cheese, Macaroni Salad (w/ diced Tomato, Peppers & Onion), Broccoli Casserole, Corn on the Cob, and Oven fresh Dinner rolls. Over dinner she mentioned Apple pie, Boston Cream pie, Banana Pudding, Zucchini Bread and Cheese Cake. I am fairly confident staying under 200 pounds by New Years will be a struggle...

dang fridge downstairs is too cold turkey is still frozen solid I forgot to take it out last night so split pea and ham soup for Christmas dinner
