The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
Feeder and Pietro I can so relate to these stories. My twins were born 3 mos early weighing 1 and 2 pounds. The smaller of the two was tube fed for the first 4 yrs of life. Would not even take a sip of water by mouth. After years of feeding therapy and trips to John Hopkins I ended up taking him to Columbus Ohio feeding clinic. Ten days in the Hospital and he walked out of there never using a feeding tube again! He had an adversion with sever refulx which required a Nissen Fundoplication. They basically let the hunger outweigh the fear and he began to eat. Of course it was supervised and if you did this at home it would be child abuse. But it was like a miracle. He now is a very picky eater and 35# smaller than his twin but is eating on his own and now 12 yrs old!
While not really an issue Gatlin has a great gag reflex. And is fussy with food. Like last night we had split pea with ham soup and you have to trick him with it. Putting rice on top will get him to start once he has it in his mouth he will eat it. After a fer mouthfuls he will eat without the rice. Something's he just won't eat because of the texture. But he's getting better now so time will tell.

My little Sister was born three months early....40 years ago. She weighed under a pound & has Treacher Collins syndrome which presented a list of issues. The docs only gave her 2% chance to live through the first night. She defied them at every turn...made it through that night and past every other life expectancy prediction they made. I am so blessed to have her for a Sister, such a fighter, yet she sees only the best in people and always has a smile & hug to share.

Very tired from a hellacious week at work.

Going to leave here later and drive a hour to get to my daughters in Indiana. Hope for a nice visit with her and the grandkids.

I thought about a hanger but the DW wouldn't like it. In my dream house it will work. Problem is she's about 5'2"

I was thinking about putting one on the wall like that since I am so short also. I would love the nice ones I see in a large kitchen above the stove, but would need a step stool to reach them and for me that would be dangerous. Only problem is, I have heavy pots and pans so it would probably take the wall down so would need it attached very firmly

Good morning REOville. I hope you are all recovering from the holiday!

I made a beautiful pork tenderloin with all the fixings for Christmas day, since it is Thursday am going to do the traditional Christmas Roast today. I decided not to do lamb since it isn't my favorite at all, so am doing beef. I froze the ham stock from 2 weeks ago, so will make the split pea tonight also. We went out for Christmas Eve with family so I got the night off and didn't have to do 3 big meals in a row hungry_boy.gif

DH must love the cooking, I got a Convection Toaster Oven Broiler from him. I often need more than one oven to cook everything, so I took the one out of the condo and brought it here, so will probably put the new one in the condo much to his chagrin. I think he wanted me to put the old one back there, but I don't use it as much there so if the old one fails me I will have to get another new one for the house. I didn't do that with the microwave, and really wished I would have ;)

I hope all your packages arrived in time, I hear the weather and the ton of last minute purchases overburdened the shipping companies. But on the bright side, if they didn't then the gift giving just continues a little longer. Spreading the joy an extra day isn't totally bad, right?

hi skittles, will this be your first bottom feeder experience? also is it your first box mod?

First bottom feeder. Previous mods are MVP and DNA20 Opus D if you co spider those box mods. This is my first box mech though. First real mech actually. I had a crappy clone piece of crap tube mech but I hated it!

Afternoon gang! Glad to see everyone a bit more relaxed in here. Snowing pretty good outside but only supposed to be 3-5. Nearly 30" total this year already. Means I would have lost my shirt this month if I was still doing the contract stuff.

Everyone enjoy relaxing and recharging, if you can. Theres a mini block party going on down the street and I got a handwritten invite (in crayon)and was told I better show up or else, by some of the kids in the neighborhood. Funny stuff!

I got bright house for my isp and just took a speed test

does anyone know if it is good or not. it seems so much faster than windstream was.

View attachment 287922

loli, what speed tier are you paying BH for?

NO, you do NOT want Windstream. They are the pitts and oversell their stuff so you end up with lots of latency and way slow speeds during primetime.

Hi everyone :) Hope your day is going good and hugs for all.

Scott, i am so glad you put your face back in your avatar (((hugs)))

I feel better as the day goes on but this morning was a surprise when i discovered my mental health support group was moved and the old forums were archived. They should have emailed us!!! now a lot of us need to register again with a new name because it must be something wrong with the set up. But i will get over it. :D

I was just curious about the shapes you used because sometimes people who use tube shapes take getting used to how different a box feels. <--- long sentence

I use the cheapest and don't know what tier it is. BUT netflix and amazon plus youtube movies all play great.

I just get what is available in my area and over here is bright house and in the other place is only windstream.

I got Comcast 2d tier and pay $39 a month for internet and cable TV. I don't use the TV just got it in the package. After a year the price will jump then I'll dump the TV option. I love my DishTV. :)

what's DishTV cost after the "first date" year?

chances are i'll be moving soon, so hoping to get away from total dependence on comcast.
