Good Morning Reo-Gangsters!! Gonna be a gorgeous day in the NE. Gotta enjoy the weekend as much as I can even while working, as we have nearly a week of rain coming in.

Karen the article on batt depth of discharge rates and their effect on batt service life answered some questions I've had for well long. Thank you sweetie. Remember you owe me a pic or two!

*Yawn* Good morning, REOville, from me and on of the 483 trillion internet internet cats:p! Saturday's by biggest tutoring day, but that makes it my favorite day of the week. Hope your Saturday and all the day's vapes are sublime!!

My St. Bernard Ben would have be in the pool 24/7 to live in there. :)

Gil, this is starting to get eerie...similar injuries, born one day apart, and my beloved Nana's (and, in my heart, my) St. Bernard was named BEN:ohmy::ohmy:!!

And Nutz, you're going to adore your dog, even if he's not as "vicious" as you'd envisioned. Read an article that said most any dog is a real deterrent to bad guys; and I can't wait for you to have the pleasure of a new pooch in your new house:)!

i tried bowling once - it's unnatural for me! Seems it is for the England cricket team too - but that aside, what puts me off now are these huge tv's over every lane that ridicules me as i gutterball yet another!

Horseshoes i can give you a decent game at!

T

I've already admitted that I live in the gutter, and, in fact, I quite like it here:D! I'd love to play horseshoes with you, Trunker. Horseshoes, darts, ping pong, and tetherball are my games (when my foot and colon are less incapacitating). Yes, tetherball's a children's game, but still:p! We've got the pole in our yard, and I still play. As I think I've said, I was always the tallest girl in school since kindergarten (and I was my full height of 5'11"+ by the start of 8th grade), so my unfair advantage in that particular game should've disqualified me...instead just sweet, sweet, super-unfair victories:closedeyes:... :p Oh, and have a grand time shopping today with HRH...you don't fool me; I know you LOVE it!

Good morning, REOvil!

Sure enjoyed catching up this morning! Scott had me rolling a few times...didn't know you are such a comedian!

Hugs to Kay, and good vibes to Cappy and Carol. Hope you guys have spoken to each other by now.

I've worn reef flip flops for so long that I have a permanent tan line...even in the middle of winter. Came across a pair probably twenty years ago at a discount shop and haven't purchased a different brand since. Never had a pair break on me yet...dogs chewed up two pairs, lost one at the lake, lost one at the coast, but never broke one.

Speaking of children's games, how about croquet? We played as kids and I've been thinking about picking up a set. I also enjoy a good game of horseshoes, but not sure about Sister throwing heavy chunks of metal. Her vision is on par with Norman's.

Hope everyone has a super Saturday!

If you have one of those small little zipper pouches, I put a fresh battery and keep a couple of cartos in one and change the battery out every Sunday for a fresh one and keep it in my purse, that way I don't need anything other than my REO when I go out. But I have a disposable cig type e-cig in my purse also, back up for backup. I think the disposable has been in there for a couple of years, but it still works.
Good to know Ed. I guess I will have to put that dohickey to use! Never really knew the proper care of batteries. Never had them go dead on me yet. I always just switched them out every morning and charged the ones I removed. Did not know if they could be getting that weak after only 3 mos use or if I was just vaping that much more while driving. Guess I will start testing them or charging more frequently. Is there a book on " Proper care of Batteries for Dummies" ?????

I texted cappy this morning...no response...I called a couple hours later, left a voicemail..no response...called again a while ago, left a voicemail...still no response......and he always calls me back right away if he doesn't pick up the phone right when I call.

I'm very very worried. The last time he called was last Sun. afternoon, this is not like him at all. I'm pretty sure you can use a cell phone either in the hospital or on the grounds, so I don't know if Carol is in the hospital and very near the end...or if cappy's in the hospital himself. I don't know what else to do...

Keep praying Kay. They need prayers.

Good Morning gang!

Well my project for the day has been thrust upon me by circumstances. The toilet handle in one of the bathrooms last night broke. Also looks like the flapper needs to be replaced with it. Armed with knowledge gleaned from you tube videos and the old I think I can, I think I can attitude I'll be departing for Lowes shortly for replacement parts. My first plumbing repair. This should be an adventure. :p

I think i have this shopping lark sussed out! What you do is hang on the back of the trolley with a 1000 yard stare, nodding knowingly to all the other guys in the store. Then strike up a conversation with a few...by then HRH is getting irate and starts moving it, wanting to get out. Works like a charm! "hey Dave - long time man - how are you?" "Trunker!!!", she hisses.

Had to get the car's state inspection today too - but that took all of 10 minutes. Not going to work today - after last week they can kiss my white ... until Monday.

Finding anything in a DIY store requires divine intervention i reckon House Mouse. I once tried to find Noalox in one and bought it from Amazon!

Slippers, that are slip resistant are a godsend, prevented me from falling on numerous occasions. LOL, ya got "slippah marks" on yer feet as they would say here. Loads better looking than golfer's who got white feet and tanned legs, imho ;).

G'Day REOville, hope everyone is doing well this weekend :). Special prayers fer everybody out there, especially fer Carol and Ray. Keeping one eye on craigslist for a dog and another on internet shopping (doors, gypsum, locks, paint, gfci, etc.).

I have a deep distrust of slippers stemming from them being my father's weapon of choice. My mother on the other hand was far less predictable and would hit someone with anything at all that was close by. I thank them for the sprint training they unwittingly provided me with!

For loafing around the house i'll wear either sandals (with my socks of course - it's the English way) or moccasins. I stopped going barefoot when i started making RBAs - it is very annoying at 5:45 am trying to drink coffee and pull wire from the soles of one's foot.

I had thought of a solution of course; but HRH was less than happy when i bought her a vacuum cleaner for Xmas and the neighbours less than accommodating when she fired it up at 5:30 am!

What she wanted was 'something that goes from 0-100 in 4 seconds' - so i bought her some scales!

Case #: 40885374 Petitioner: HRH
Reason: unreasonable behaviour
