I think that super_x had seen your picture and was just joshing with you Karen, queen early bird;). Yeah, Val, actually my main trick is just what Ed suggested. We use the very same Whirlpool air cleanser and another dehumidifier for any possible mold. Unfortunately, I've also had to do away with any plants inside the house. Not nearly as pretty as it used to be, but it's helped. To ward off possible dust mites, I wash all my bedding at least a couple times a week. Outside, I never go without sunglasses to keep pollen and spores out of my eyes. I'm sure none of this is new to you, though.

Ed, hearing about your kitties is so heartbreaking. I'm so sorry.

What do you think about a 1.5 ohm 510 HH.357 Hybrid Short Barrel 100VG (wider holes) instead? I'm using one right now on my vv woody happily vaping away tank after tank of BB. Granted, I only been using it for a week or so but it's doing the trick.

I've never tried an HH. Always wanted to but never had the opportunity. I'm sure someone will chime in here though.

No, it helped. I just started up the hepa filter, and the filters look clean which is good since the replacement ones are at the condo. I just stopped using them since I wasn't smoking and felt better. I completely spaced it this year! I also wear sunglasses, but to keep my eyes young. Most of my friends needed reading glasses years before I did, I am compulsive about wearing eye protection.

I wash the dog blankets frequently, and even have a ghetto sheet covering the couch that I can wash frequently. It doesn't look good, but it does fulfill a purpose. And will wash it right now since this weekend has been miserable. I woke up yesterday literally crying my eyes were watering so badly, and missed out on a ride I was so miserable. I just took a benadryl and went back to sleep. Hopefully the hepa and washing the blankets/sheets will help.

Mornin REOville! Went yesterday with my friend to lunch, Petco, Bed, Bath & Beyond and KC's first (that I've found) dedicated E-cig shop. The shop is a Volcano shop, so they didn't have much in the way of equipment other than Volcano branded stuff, no batteries for mods or anything like that, but hey, it's a start! I did buy 2 bottles of liquid because I have have a confession to make, I've been smoking. After work got crazy and I got diagnosed last summer, I just kinda lost it, and started smoking again. I've been using my REOs daily, but not exclusively. Thought some new flavors might help me to throw away the cigs again, it hasn't been as easy quitting as it was the first time, but I'll get there. This shop is north of the river, but not too far from my friends place, so that's good to know. The shop owner wasn't there, but his wife was, they have juices you can test in tanks so that was very nice, they have a TV and a couch sitting area for people to relax in and the shop was well organized and clean. The owner's wife is very pleasant, and was impressed with my REO, asked about where to get one so gave her the info, I wish I had one of Rob's cards in my purse, but I didn't, will put some in there for the next person who asks. That was the first time I had vaped on a tank, can't say I was impressed since I'm used to a REO, but being able to try the juices was a plus.
Used a 20% off coupon and got a Spot Bot Pet at BB&B, so that's my project for this afternoon, this carpet is looking worse since I got new floors in the kitchen and baths, and it will be some time before I can afford to replace the carpet, hope it works as good as the reviews say it does.
Have a great Sunday!
(((Jeni))) You want to pick a date together? I went the first year without picking up a single stinkie. Then the year anniversary hit and I found out about the delay with surgery and picked them up a few times a day with Mom & Sis. With REOville's encouragement stopped again, then started again. Limiting to three a day, outside with Mom and Sis...but it's enough to be a habit I want to get out of again.

I like Karens pictures of our cities (or villages). I'm gonna beat her to it this am :).

Love those baby pines this time of year. All that new growth just makes me smile.

I haven't been chiming in on the dog conversation because...well, ya'll know us poodle owners are a special kind of crazy. Not a piece of furniture they don't lounge on, free reign of the house and front yard, their food budget is equal to mine, 3 a.m. potty breaks for one of them. Sandy sheets and dirty windows are a small price to pay for all the love, loyalty, companionship and hours of entertainment they provide.

I had a couple of the 1.5 HH.357 attys. They were good. At the time I used them the RBA's were not really in play. I did like the flavor and taste from them better than other attys. But now I can say the Reomizer, Reomizer 2, and my A7's are much better.

My HH.357 did not last me long. Just a few weeks. For that price I would have been much happier if they lasted a few months!

I don't think he saw it! Don't mind if he was joshing either. I can take it!

I don't think I could do poodles, all that curly hair would hold the desert dust I bet. Everyone has different tolerances; I just can't tolerate dust and the dogs bringing in the dirt. And they do not come on the furniture for the same reason, but they have their own blankets they make their bed out of. If the blankets are in the wash, they just walk around confused

I notice I still use "they" even though we had to put our older one down gently. We extended her life as long as we could, but when she couldn't get up anymore even on the pain pills, it was time. She was almost blind and could only see shadows, had nerve damage so she couldn't chew on one side and had gum hyperplasia on the other side so only soft food which we spoon fed (sometimes even down to baby food per the vet!), was deaf and with terrible arthritis that required pills twice a day so she could walk. The vet was great, DH had tears streaming and the vet told him that "you did everything possible to give this dog extra time when others wouldn't have, please don't feel guilty about letting her go now, it is for her own good that she not suffer and it is just her time". That is why he won't get another one, he simply can't stand the pain of letting them go. So yeah, I would say we are softies on some things, but when it affects my quality of life I am not gonna budge!

Son developed allergies when he was around five. Dust was a biggie so I had to dust often! His bedroom got a detailed dusting at least once a week.
The Rainbow vacuum was a must.

Canton had a few pics to choose. There was an ice cream shop that almost ended up in my post!
You must get on here earlier to beat me! LOL

Nice one Karen !
I'm guessing that courthouse was built in either the 80's or 90's (dunno). It is the newest building in downtown Canton. Our downtown is an old, depressing hodgepodge collection of law offices, court buildings and a fire station. There is also a restaurant or two and a few shoppes.

We did recently get a new Starbucks though not far from downtown :)

Son has had one of those in his bedroom and it so helps.
Ages ago we started using the allergy filters on the furnace, and that was a big help too.

And that reminds me as well, I will ask DH if he has changed the filters. I put a note on the fridge when we started getting warmer weather, and it is still there. So I guess if the note is there, the filter may not have been changed. I hate to be a nag, but after he saw me yesterday morning he may not mind the nagging so much since I really am suffering! I am much better today, and the hepa has already changed the air in here, I can really tell a difference. What a dope I am forgetting it

Any other tips are greatly appreciated!

I'm in Illinois so during the winter it helps to run a humidifier. Just make sure you put the right chemicals in it to stop the growth of mold and stuff.

Hope you get to feeling better soon!

I'm looking for a good tobacco vape for when my new Grand arrives. I've heard good things about Kalamazoo Vapor Shop's OMFG. Any input or recommendations?

All of heathersheavenly tobaccos are good and ahlusion has a well reviewed selection.

read up on them first so you don't end up with a boatload of juices you'll never vape. don't rule out unflavored either, it can help stretch out your premium juices for a long time.

Have a great Sunday!

Don't feel bad! When my marriage imploded and I lost my house and just about everything I owned, I picked back up the stinkies for close to 8 months. One day I just said I need to get off these, I purchased a new device for that YAY! I gots a new Mod feeling, and started vaping. I spend my stinky budget for the week so I simply had no money to get them. When you are ready you will be able to pick it up again. There is nothing wrong with back sliding a little. Cause every time you Vape instead of smoke you are making a change.

Good morning all.

I am much different than all of you when it comes to dogs. They are dogs, and dogs belong outside patrolling the perimeter. They don't live inside, that is where people and a cat live. They come inside a lot, don't get me wrong. But the yard is their primary realm.

When we first got this dog, she pee'd inside a lot. I had already taken her to a vet, but apparently they missed the urinary tract infection that I promptly diagnosed when the poor girl pee'd so often. It is really unfair to the dog to scold her for pee'ing with a UI. After the UI was gone, we commenced training. But she always comes to get ME when she wants to go outside and lets DH sleep. She is getting spoiled too, I started bringing her in more and she thinks she belongs inside instead of doing her job of keeping the yard safe. Which is, of course, all my fault. I have to remind myself often that she belongs outside since she spends 80% of the time inside instead of the other way around. Did I mention that dogs belong outside patrolling the perimeter? It's true, really it is...

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe!

Chica would literally panic if she had to be in the yard for more than a few mins. But Honestly I have had some dogs that would rather stay outside and only come in for a few hours a day.

You know, I just realized that all of you with allergies should have air cleaners in your homes. I had a cat with allergies so I got two Whirlpool hospital grade air cleaners. What I discovered is that the air in my home was so clean and crisp that I cant live without them. Plus dusting is a breeze. I love the constant "breeze" it makes and I especially love how in winter, it smells so good in here and doesnt get stagnant. Just a thought for all our allergy sufferers. I lost that old gal (aptly named Hobbes for her human like personality) in 2009 when the "melanine" laced pet food came over from China. She lived nearly 23 years. Miss her dearly. I lost 4 cats total from that damn food. Still not over it. Tabitha was born after so no chance of losing her.

So sorry to hear about your Kitties. That is why I am so picky about what I feed my babies. My Mother-in-law insists ALPO is the best food out there. I refuse to buy it for her and keep Chica from eating when it is in the house.

Howdy Fine REO Folk. Watching Indy 500 delayed. TV volume way up. TTYL. Feisty Alice

Watching the race too. Love today cause I get to drink a few beers and watch racing all day!

Never tried that But I am addicted to S&S mods Grumpy's Hooch. His prices ain't to bad either.
