Kaypers, this is the first video for Potato Bombs I saw. Look up Potato Bombs on Youtube to see variations. You can do them in oven, too. We think real bacon wrap is better than Turkey bacon but the first I tried Turkey was last night and I left them on a little long. DH wants me ream them out even more next time so I can stuff even more stuff in.

Last night's dinner. The sauce was to die for but would have gone better with bird. The goat cheese stuffed ground beef burgers, heavy on onions and bell peppers, would have been better with a mostly tomato sauce.

But i don't have a polished Reo, my eyes look like pure evil and i am a worse photographer than coil-builder! Will a vague outline of me in the black grand work?

T

I had a polish REO who's reflection was mirror like. It lasted till I touched it for the 1st time. I knew it was going to be a lot of work so it got a good home. ;)

lol Alice - you realise i'd never moan about you posting anything you wanted - that is by the way the most recent pic taken of me, there have been no more since and at the time SXD noted that we had the same haircut, which says more about our poor choice in barbers than anything else!

I've been rescued! DH came out to have me taste something. I told him he'd have to wait as I rushed up off my bad knee and hobbled down the steps to turn something off. Then he asked if there was anything he could do to help. Hardly. Then I explained it was going to take me all summer to complete, I nor the dogs could use the pool the whole time, and I would probably end up needing sugery both shoulders and knee. I was not joking. He told me to please hire someone.

FINALLY!!!!!!

After landscape/lawn foreman leaves after our apt in morning I'm making call to pool guy. It's really a drag having bum shoulders and knee and being old. Sissy is a good worker but I think I put the fear in her last time she helped me with pool. We acid washed in 100+ temps.

DH did baggie eggs with blue cheese in microwave. Quite tasty.

Oh yeah, DH thinks the 3 ft weeds that have come back up in backyard and around pool are pretty. He asked why we can't leave them. SNAKES, mess in pool, little sticky seeds all over me and dogs, if only I could let them out back, but can't because I or someone I hire can't get to the damaged fences fallen trees took out.

Have I mentioned lately how overwhelmed I am?

Not gonna let Sissy work tonight. She's at point it takes too much intervention/input/work from me. I VANT TO BE ALONE and chill!!!!!!

Only Kaypers knows the full extent of my house/property challange and she's sworn to secrecy. I've got a lot of legitimate complaing and beeching I could do. BTW... I'm paying Sissy to work. I cannot get her to use the vacuum cleaners; choice of ten different ones. (Up untill a few years ago I had full time help. They vacuumed the floors daily, furniture almost as often, and walls and ceiling vacuumed monthly. Ceiling fans once a week. Normal households around here, without animals and who have lush grass up to house, have dust settling on everything within hours when they dust with the best dust collector cloths. So she fights me on vacumming. Today I insisted she use the vacuum on a stack of stuff that DH and I have to sort through, mainly books, papers, journals but covered with a year's worth of fine cementous dust. She knocked down the shelf behind the big tv that holds the digital antenae, both crashing to floor, several things off firepace mantel including two glass picture frames onto my pottery I've been collecting since mid 60's, and was throwing stuff across the room into piles. I was sitting on floor sorting through books and she got a little ...... because I didn't want her dusting the books and shelves, using a cloth, showering dust down onto my head. PLEASE USE VACUUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That'll teach Feisty to not insist on someone using vacuum cleaner. SO THEY THINK

Feisty needs to be a little more assertive especially when paying.

DH being his sweetest came out to make sure I was just chilling and not working.

i forgot what housework was - i figured "i do" releases you from all that.

As for dusting onto my head i am not fond of that bald doughnut look thank you.

:D

I've been out here chill'n and watching the Tarantula Hawks hunt Trantulas. Really sad when they paralize one and drag it across the concrete.

One big advantage to our ever increasing build up of dust..... It has desiccant properties like DE but without the silica. Every year it mounts up we see less and less bugs in house. Maybe only a few dead scorpions this year and very few spiders.

Going in to reheat remaing ginormous mini meatloaf but catchup as any meatloaf deserves and potatoe bombs. F........ green veggies.

Dexter is on tonight. I'll feel a bit more "normal" after watching that.

and i just read your posts, Alice....I'm SOOO glad your DH is cooperating about cleaning help!!!! That house is just way too huge to keep up with by yourself!

DON'T LET HIM SLIDE ON THIS!!!!Just all the care and upkeep for all your very lovable but very LARGE Bubs and the horrendous cement like dust would wear out TWO women! And then all the things you do, including all the chauffering for DH, also.

Please?!:D
