Good morning everyone!

Thought for the day:

The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. What is called resignation is confirmed desperation. From the desperate city you go into the desperate country, and have to console yourself with the bravery of minks and muskrats. A stereotyped but unconscious despair is concealed even under what are called the games and amusements of mankind. There is no play in them, for this comes after work. But it is a characteristic of wisdom not to do desperate things. ~Henry David Thoreau

So glad you have bases covered. We'll all have you in our most positive thoughts and prayers. Already do. Loads of beaming. How long do you expect to be in hospital? Rehab after? Hope you don't have to but your Dad and (step) Mom can also babysit you at their house, too, can't they?

Love, Alice

Good Day Fine REO Folk. Sitting outside waiting for Lawn Foreman. (Kay, you weren't able to see it because it was covered with junk..... Sissy worked down to the bench thst goes all around the huge oak tree in driveway yard. Nice to be able to use it.) Usual 90 already but extra humid. If Ernesto isn't here in 6 minutes I'm calling his a r s e. Earlier, this spring I waited all day. He forgot me. Bubs all locked up in house. Went out front yard with them to encoursge them all to do doodies and potties. Having 24/7 doggie door they are out of practice going on command. Anxious for Ernesto to get here. We'll walk the "civilized" (yeah right) areas and mark stuff to be cut and removed and then I can start my pool rescue quest. I didn't turn of the second water valve last night so pool over flowing! Probably only a few hundred gallons of water. Need CYA reduced anyway. Time to give Ernesto a call.

Welcome back you strangers.

Hold those you love close in heart and mind. Feisty Alice

Vape Mail!!!!!!! Sissy just got back from UPS Store with anxiously awaited Vapor Craze, Monkey Business juice, 9 X 30 ml bottles. TrippyBert turned me onto it when we were in Denver.

Also, she took just a plastic postal bin of books, not a whole lot, and worth practically nothing to library, donation, and woman gave her a receipt for $100 tax deduction. She's right now taking a perfect condition set of World's Classic Authors. They are 1961 printing but immaculate condition. They have a consignment guy who sells them and donor gets 80% sales value tax deduction. Paperbacks go to Goodwill. We are recycling out of date reference books, mostly medical. Sissy was amazed at how many books we have. We gave away over 1K hardbound a few years ago and lots more to go.
