The "Queen" is now exiting to go to hot tub, damn the lightening, and she'll envision being in Big Sur. Wish I had some "medicinal." (Gotta rewick and re-battery REO first, and give Jake his meds, and, and, and, and.... cabbage/chicken wontons heated in microwave when I come in..... not GF, but fresh cilantro, vinegar, soy dipping sauce {
Val, frozen wontons from COSTCO}) Jen, we didn't get any wind strong enough for 11' umbrella to dance around at all. Only had about 100 lbs extra holding base down (plant watering buckets). Regular storm it takes about 500 lbs extra for it to not take flight when it's open. It's commercial, fiberglass so can handle just about anything if base is weighted down well enough and I have post screws tightened adequately. I've seen it lift out of base and hover before crashing across deck to railing. Pretty amazing. Fullish moon, but not visible
through clouds. Really spectacular last night and early this morning. We were in Denver, for Jack's memorial, one of prime spots to observe, but cloudy and raining, for Super Moon. Damn the mosquito ground spraying. I doubt it will drift much in the air with so much rain. Bubs are all sleeping but will come out on deck to guard me.... resulting in very wet dogs in house.
Life is mostly good.
