Good morning, REOvil! Happy Friday!
Just posting a good morning and running off. We are having gorgeous weather and I talked Mom & Sis into going to the lake to walk the trails and have a picnic. I really want to camp, but I'm not quite up to pitching tents and hauling everything in and out of the car. Mom & Sis have no interest in camping, so I cannot enlist them to do the grunt work.

Thought I'd share this clip with you. It pretty much changed my life some 25 years ago and led me to learn about yet another rich culture and way of life. As a young'in, I tried to emulate this guy but I pretty much look like a floppy chicken with a thorn is his foot. Mostly, I love the freedom of the style and the camaraderie if you will. It takes pretty good skillz to pass people around and stuff. I think if we all went to dances like this the world would be a happier, friendlier place Enjoy if you get it....Dance With Me Movie - Bing Videos

hey can someone tell me why i keep finding juice in my juice well under my rm2 in my grand? its screwed down as tight as it can be. today i put a 306 atty on it and juice shows as soon as u squank it. must be a bad insulator in the 510 connector and need a rebuild?
Did you toss the o-ring in there? :)

I've gone through this issue before. Get the larger o-rings 1.5mm or double up the o-rings.

If that doesn't help. Then I've noticed if I over-squonk the juice will run from the airhole right into the well.

i seem to always have a bit of juice in my wells. When I first started years ago with a grand and 510 or 306 atty's, I actually learned to feed until i had a bit of juice in the well. Kind of like a mini reservoir. When it depleted I hit the bottle again. Always kept about 1/16 of juice in the well. With my RM2's I still always have a bit in there. I think from a combo of mild seepage from the connector/base, from the base/cap and normal seepage from the air hole running down. As long as its not flooding your well, and is not over excessive, I expect its just normal. I'm sure others will step in with more info.

no i didnt cause my air hole was were it needed to be. maybe that will help if i tighten it good with the rm2. but right now i have a 306 atty in it and i hardly touch the juice bottle and it feeds the atty but juice starts showing up right away.

Not at all that is normal behavior for a REO.

Thats how it works especially with a 306 or 510 atty .... the juice comes right out as you squonk it. Thats why most of us "blind squonk" (sucking while squonking) it directs more if not all of it into the atomizer. With bottom air fed attys you cannot seal up the juice path or you would seal the air path also ..... no sucky - sucky :(

Of course blinds squonking does nothing with a RM2 or any side air hole attys. But with side air fed atomizers you can seal the juice path with an O-ring under the atomizer. Then the only juice you will see is a bit right in the connector when you unscrew the atty.

If you get the proper thickness o-ring figured out under the RM2 it will stay dry ..... otherwise there is always going to be some juice in the cup.

Back in the day that was the #1 reason many people preferred cartomizers on the REO ..... It was much easier to keep a dry catch cup with those.

:) O-rings are squeeeeshy. I'm sure you could do another full turn on it, no problem. It'll feel tight, but you're not messing anything up. I thought I was over tightening mine the first time I'd tossed the O-ring in there, but works perfectly fine, no problems. :toast:

Hey Everyone--Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm a new REO acolyte, having been vaping for about 8 weeks before discovering the mini 2.1 that currently resides with me. I'm a father of two (2 1/2 and 10 mos) and a lawyer here in west central il. I'm figuring I'll be hanging out here some so I thought I'd say hi.
