I'm in Louisiana this week for my grandma's funeral
I love here dearly and she raised me, so that's all to be said on that.
Just got internet access, and have been surrounded by smokers that are totally intimidated and threatened by my "e-cig"
My family is pretty resistant to change, beer and smokes, don't mess with their routine.
I've had several get pretty pissy and tell me, "you haven't quit, I still see smoke" They really just won't believe what they are seeing...there is a reason I live 600 miles from here

Well I don't get on here often enough. And get to be so many pages behind I just can't catch up. But wanted to pop in to say hello to all. And thanks for the pm's Kay and SuperX. I appreciated them! Hope all is well with everyone. Think the kiddo's are going to have another snow day tomorrow so should get to bed. Just not as easy raising 12 yr old twins at my age! Hugs all

I'm sorry to hear of the nature of your trip, Buddy...but I'm sure it does your heart good to be with family & friends in your old stomping grounds, even if just for a little while.
It always makes me sad when a threatened smoker goes on the attack. I've been verbally abused by more than one smoker who was in my space and just had all these really nasty opinions without solicitation. Never even addressed them...just got yelled at for "smoking that THING" around them.
Really, i just wish that if I'm not pushing my THING on them, they would just keep their baggage to themselves. And frankly, anyone who knows me, knows I don't push....at all....ever. Just don't let it get under your skin...walk away if you have to. Or if you're like me say "I don't chastise you about the way you get your nicotine, and I'll thank you kindly to do the same." Then hit them with the evil eye.
