When I ditched p.t. due to the horrible road conditions and the inch accumulation of snow I thought the same thing. Friday's are always the best hookie days.

Your comment made me giggle. But I understand snow in places that don't get much. It can cripple roads.

Just got the covers done. Found out that hot glue straight out of the gun can make a nice blister quick. I didn't know how to remove the glue when it was so hot. Didn't want to use my other fingers and burn them! So I let it cool a little and peeled it off.

Did 3 more covers and my thumb is still burning!

Snow? Hey, that might help!

Karen- If you get hot glue on your fingers, Immediately set it on stainless steel (Kitchen sink ?) and the stainless will absorb the heat faster than your skin will. Trust me....

But....I had hot glue on the cover and needed to finish it!!! It was a Coffee cover for a Grand. The Coffee material needs to be pulled as it sets to get a tight fit.

I will try to remember your tip for cases when I can run to the kitchen!!!! Thank you sweetie!!

Good morning/afternoon Reoville. :)

Just something that made me laugh. Maybe because it will probably go something like this!

Hello, Reoville. Finally surfacing after a 48-hour swim through the murky swamp of the flu. Outside, ice stuck to something somewhere, so all the schools are closed for the day - we don't know how to deal with that in Texas. I'm well enough to focus my eyes, but not well enough to work, so it's Movie Day for me - laying in bed with my tissues and the thermometer and the Vicks VapoRub drinking tomato soup out of a mug, watching Tom Cruise descend from the ceiling upside down on a cable (in the movie, I mean. Mission Impossible. If he was descending from my own ceiling, I'd have to take my temperature again.) All in all, not a bad way to spend a Friday afternoon.

LOL!

it just got fast again here. but if my theory holds, we won't be hearing from Val anytime soon, since she's south of me :)

Hi all, I am here but feeling a bit under the weather. I haven't noticed any problems, but then I haven't been here because I feel like I got hit by a train.

Sorry to hear you are sick :( I woke up with my throat on fire, and went to lie down for a "minute" and woke up 4 hours later. I think I have slept over 12 hours? What the heck?

Ed, did your throat hurt so bad your ears hurt? I am going back to bed.

I hope everyone else is feeling well.

How 'bout a big extinguisher aimed right at you with a remote foot pedal and have it full of fire foam. That would probably work best! :p

Hi Val :) I'm sorry to say "yes", that was def one of my symptoms. I'm willing you not to get the same version I had. If it escalates exponentially, don't wait to go see doc. Huggs

HRH was unimpressed with the 1/4" of ice on my car this morning. The Queen of the Netherlands announced as people were hitting barriers all over town on ice slicks that "it doesn't look that icy to me just wet and cold".

"Hey Smurf - help me get some of this "wet" off my car so i can go to work". Such is life.

No sore throat for me. First symptom was the first chest congestion/bronchitis-y feeling that I've had since I started vaping. Fever set in less than 24 hrs later. Next two days were a blur of whimpering and misery. If you even suspect flu, go get the test and start taking Tamiflu. I waited a day longer than I should have (cuz I'm stubborn) and suffered more than I had to. CVS Minute Clinic. Call.
