Off to a GI doc appt. (the local Kaiser one who's scalpel-happy:p). Thank you so much, Jen, for any and all of your beautiful photography. You have such a REAL talent for it (and so many other things), but I declared my full-blown Jen fangirl status a very long time back, after all. We need an update on how you're doing in your PT, Val and Gil. I'm sure that Alice is fine (have a feeling she'd get through most anything), but it's nice that you all are checking, anyway. Just wishing everyone my best once more on my way out the door (oh, how I miss my iPhone for check-ins from the road (#addictive personality:p))!

Quick check in. Some pretty rough weather around these parts last night. It has been a very quiet spring. We are fine. We were right in the path of the mile wide killer tornado that did so much damage south west of us. Before that system got to us tornado took an extremely odd, abrupt turn to the south east. They just don't go south east here! Always north east. Lots of hook formations, large area all around for several hours so our TV tuned to local weather big part of evening. Our first prompt to check weather was when systems building about 80 miles west. We heard the thunder rumbling way off. Then neighbor's transformer hit by lightening. That was a couple hours before wind and rain. Lightening hitting a transformer is quite an event!!!! His gets hit almost every year. Not sure why his always gets hit. The other two are within 50 to 100 feet of his and his that close to our front door. But we remarkably didn't lose electricity. (Kay, that's Malven who lives way back behind us, the guy we talked to, at gate, about the helicopter circling close by few nights before with search light.) Last night reminded me I need to get emergency provisions gathered and back into storm closet and move most REOs to safe in closet. Half of them and most RBAs and supplies were on dining room table.

Gotta run. Hope all well or improving.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

Thank you for posting Alice. I watch the weather channel for a couple of hours this morning. I saw all of the damage. Knowing it might have been very close to you made me very nervous.

Glad to know you are fine.

I'm sorry to hear that. Someone snatched my number and tried to use it this month too. Fortunately the CC company decided that those purchases were "outside my norm" and declined the charges. However, I did have to get a new card and renew all my cycling bill payments on it which was a huge pain in the tush. I've got another CC account and I've decided to use that one for all my internet purchases. The one with my cycling bill payments on it won't ever get used on the internet again.

I got told that I wasn't to do any of my home exercises today, that I need a day off. I am trying really, really hard not to do my leg lifts. I caught myself once already doing them this morning just out of habit. Apparently I work too hard; I get tears in my eyes at PT, I push so hard. But it has been 2 and a half years with this bad knee, and I have a lot of catching up to do with the atrophy. And a limited number of PT sessions to do it in.

So I added another pound of weight to the ankle weight I wear all day at home, and am hobbling about with that on. :D

Hopefully it wasn't something super sketchy. I heard someone had a dating site charge, but at least their spouse was understanding! I forgot which REOnaut that was?

I have been worrying about Cappy. Sometimes taking all that energy to travel can take it's toll. I sure hope everything is going as best as it can for both Cappy and Carol.

And for everyone else, I hope you day goes well and your aches and pains are minimal.

that was me. lotta dating sites in england.. and this was my response. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...85-update-ave-s-temp-closing.html#post9039596

I really don't know. All I was told was it was a charge from Royal Palms, Harrison, TN

I only use this card for Internet too, and it wasn't to horrible to get all straightened out. Waiting for new card is the biggest pain in my bum.

The problem with these processor sites being hacked is that we also have to enter sensative info like last 4 of social, birthdate, etc. (for age verification) on the same form that holds our CC info which got hacked and what-not. So I'd be more concerned with identity theft than fraud. Big wakeup call to say the least.
