i have possession of our 'lucky' bbq! It was originally owned by a guy called JW (nice Canadian!!) - when hurricane Ike beat us up a little and i recall him making coffee on it. He died. It then passed to another guy Kai (what kind of damn idiot calls a child that but anyway) and he retired and moved north, when it passed to it's last owner Richard, and when he moves - to me.

The entire point of that bbq is this: it has never moved more than about 200ft and whenever the power is out everyone can use it. Because if it's out for 3 days ....

Trunk - can i use the bbq - sure....and can i have a go on that thing you are puffing on? f....off!

I heard about it on ECF and since everything is fair-use then I totally own the rights if Robert sends me a friends request that is. Gadda love public domain, Val.

I had one of those things. It never worked. Since Lorillard owns Blu, it wouldn't surprise me if they did patent it before they released. That Blu monstrosity was bought before a vacation, and when I got home I found this site. That Blu PIF'd very quickly!

Question for all the married folks out there, who gets to decide which side of the bed to sleep on?

RHP

My knee dictates where/how I sleep now. Before that, it really didn't matter. In fact, DH would comment that sometimes I changed sides when we slept in a hotel. I told him tough tooties, I like HIM being closest to the door.

Question for all the married folks out there, who gets to decide which side of the bed to sleep on? And once picked, is it set in stone or is roation allowed?

RHP

I get the left, he gets the right. It is not negotiable. No two way discussions are had. Not sure how or when it was established....back in our dating days early on I suppose. but it is comfortable and it's easier to just not change something that isn't broken. I suppose I'd be fine with either spot. I can easily adapt. Now the position of the bed, however, is always a project to work through when moving furniture. We often disagree and have to go through a silly week long series of temper tantrums and disgruntled acquiesence before settling on something we can both agree on. Good times.
