What are you mixing? Curious because I just started DIY'ing.
And thanks for the info. Will try cleaning it just in case if it is not the carto snapping. Although I am using a citrus juice first time ever so could that have anything to do with it?
Dave yes I do notice some crackle but this is actually a LOUD snap. Maybe carto is bad???? Would be my first but possible??? Can a spring collapse on a grand or just the VV's? ( Mine is fine just wondering???)
Actually, a spring is more likely to collapse on a Grand (or any non-VV's) because the chipset in the VV has short protection in it.
You can test to see if the firing pin's sparking by taking the door off and shutting off the lights and hitting the button. That could well be a factor too, but I've gotten snaps out of the shorties before and I can usually squonk them down a bit.

I make a couple of very easy flavours for myself and HRH - she likes menthol and i like double RY4. I do finally have all i need for Jack's apple fritter, and am vaping that right now in the vv grand. When i get a bit of time - which is invariably the weekend i'll have a bash at that!
During the week - all i will ever do is clean the devices and recoil RBA's, because it takes me little time.

Thanks Dave no sparking at all. Will try to work thru it. Seems to be calming down a bit now. If it worsens I will throw it in the trash and start with a new one. Maybe the difference in the thinner juice. Used to using Boba's which is so thick.
No RBA use here! Got them just have not had the time to practice more making coils. And I love these shortys.
Keep us posted how the Apple Fritter is? I also love Double Rye4 so would be interested. Val gave me a good recipe that uses Double Rye4 with caramel, peanut butter, and vanilla. That recipe is pretty good also!

i like thicker juice - it's hot here and i can flood anything with really thin juice, 80/20 pg/vg just doesn't do it for me! It's very difficult to convince people of the merits of a device when you have liquid dribbling from it down your hand! For Kay's benefit: "and the Reo!!".

In my computer case i also carry a carto - it's one that RHP and someone else recommended. I have fail safes for everything, from chargers to RBAs - the lot.
Because i know for sure that if i had a day like Unsure's, i'd buy the Marlboros and about 40 of them would already be gone!

Yes Pat is the one who told me about this cartos. The super shorty's that Rob sells. I love em. Just bought a bag of 50 of them! i do that too! I carry: 4 batteries, 2 reo grands, spare bottle of juice, 2 ready to go RM2's and a carto! (i know i know - and a partridge in a pear tree!).
Then i come home for lunch!!

Has anyone tried contacting the publisher of Jack's book? I used to write to authors when I was a kid, and it was always through their publishers. Maybe they'd know his status.
That would be a great idea. Have Pietro or someone call the place. Someone should know something at least to be sure he is ok? If he is he will probably chew all our ***** for stalking him! (Or at least trying too! LOL )
