Dang Lisa! Freakin' mess ups are the pitts!

I know you will stay on their ... until all is right! That PM will learn real quick to double check everything!

Little different when it is YOUR house huh? Go get-um!!! I know you will not settle for anything but what you want. (((hug)))
Ya...kind of...but I did a much more thorough job with my clients...they knew all the options up front. We told him what we needed and he said okay, here's the change order....not realizing that what he gave us was wrong until we got the spec sheet, which came weeks later. Took one look at the sheet and knew right away that it was wrong. What I'm upset about is that this is a habit for this guy. I shouldn't have to call all the manufacturers directly to double check his work. Manufacturers while being very nice and accommodating, do not like talking to homeowners and for good reason. It puts them in a difficult situation. I'm furious...this isn't like buying a car you pick from the lot. We have told him from DAY ONE, that this whole project MUST be ADA compliant! And he continues to just blow it off. :grr:

I understand. You are paying for his service. What you use to do. Not right at all that he can't do his job.

Sorry. It is not fair that it takes away from your excitement of getting a brand new house just like you planned.

It will get done right. You must keep believing that sweetie!

I know...I'm sorry....I'm just grumpy. Zoomie was up early this morning throwing up all over my bedroom floor and I've had jack for sleep. I'm keyed up because this stuff always puts me on edge. You are right...While I did understand back when I was in the industry what would set homeowners off, it is different when I'm the homeowner...and us having prior industry knowledge makes it that much more aggravating for both Wayne and I. It would probably be better if we didn't know how this whole thing works....ignorance is sometimes bliss, I think.

If anyone is in Minneapolis, I just heard this from my niece who owns Nadia Cakes:

"You might want to watch WCCO tonight at 10:00-10:15. We have just been voted Best Cupcakes in Minnesota. And we may have beaten our competition by oh, 1,600+ votes. And we MAY have gotten more votes than any other place in the entire three year history of the show. No biggie."

I am so proud of her, she built that business from her kitchen making cakes while tending to her 3 very young daughters. :D

LOL

Wasn't sure where to post this, but had to share it in the Reo forum.

Perhaps Rob can translate what this little guy is saying? :D

That's an easy one. The little Guy is speaking Okie. Saying how good a Reo vapes, and how nothing else compares to it. LOL

Today is the day, I believe, of the funeral of Jack, our mountain man, one year ago.

You are sorely missed Jack.

He passed away on June 1, 2013...after dancing and charming the ladies into the wee hours of the morning.

He truly did it his way and was one-of-a-kind.

Posted by a damn flatlander:)
