To make it clear I am on team Apple/Steve Jobs. Apple is the one with the hot chick labeled with Apple products all over her naked body. PC is the lumpy man on the carpet.

Sorry... I'm playing catchup...

Not to perpetuate this 20 year old argument, but I have to say this... I'm a database analyst, and everything I work with runs on SQL (which pretty much means PC only). I have a PC server, a Mac laptop, an iPad and an iPhone. I was using all these to try to get through sale night last night, and the only one that worked was..... wait for it....... the iPad!

I got my first choice on my iPad, while my PC and my Mac laptop were both churning... I'm not an electrical engineer or anything, and it's probably just dumb luck, but it's worth considering........................

So I know some of us have talked about how slow the sight runs. I don't know if this will help but it's worth a try

I can't post in there...but sometimes I think it also has to do with the thread size. I'm sure you've noticed that this thread takes longer to load pages than the other threads in our sub-forum. Which is why there is a maximum number of posts (1000) allowed in single threads within the sub-forum.

This particular thread was already well over 100,000 posts by the time we got the sub-forum so I suppose you could say in a way that it was grandfathered...and allowed to remain in tact.

Oh I meant that people might be interested in trying Rolygate's advice.

Godfathered!!!!!! I love that! That is true. This page does take longer to load. Darn it! I wish it was the other way!

I feel for twinmommyaandb w/ her issues w/ the school/teacher. I work as a school psychologist in a public school system. Hoping I'll be able to help her out...sent her a PM. We'll see.
You did help me greatly. At least, I do know now that the self containment classroom is like going from abc to z without letters between and from what limited info I do have it sounds as if behaviors are reenforced/not dealt properly with. Now on to making sure things are taken care of and that I make every effort to get the info about my child on a daily basis.

well, that was an easy fix. wife complained last night that the dryer wasnt drying well. first fear heating element or blower. a quick check of vent pipe confirmed there was blockage and not heat element or blower. i go outside where we had been getting our pool ready and find she has jammed the protector up inside and the little door is being forced shut and not allowed to open, hahahahahaha. got out lucky on this one.
