i need shelves!

T

I've got shelves, a toolbox and a hutch...yet there are still around a half dozen or so mods on my little table next to my chair. For some reason, this drives The Evil One nuts [emoji848]

A barn indeed! Some mere mortals settle for a small corner of a house! i have one small corner and the rest is largely out of bounds.

I've not been officially banned from the kitchen here yet, but that's because i haven't fixed the light over the sink!

Did a little topper-swapping, after my O-16 got in.
It's right at the "minimum" air for me - but it's sure a great vape in a tiny package. I kept not-buying one, but then they started to disappear, so I grabbed one...

Surprisingly, despite a pretty substantial collection of tight little atties - I never ran an RM2!
I've vaped Cyclones, Reactors, Atomics, Divos...then when I wanted more air moved to Nuppins, Rogue, Manta...

My GUESS is that you could dial it down as tight as you wanted. Full open, it is a TINY LITTLE bit tighter than a Nuppin wide open.

I have a go-to build in it dual 27 g kanthal, 2.5mm, 6 wrap for just a touch under 0.5 ohms.

What coil, wicking and all that old guff? Does it rival an RM2?

T

Edit - I picked up and have been wicking everything with "Vapers Choice" cotton. The stuff in a little jar? I find it's not too different in taste from my other fave japanese cotton, but seems to LAST longer. It takes a few minutes to get wet initially, but then seems to resist gunking or scorching a bit better.

i use readywick abbreviated to RxW usually and it's indestructible, but i do have one fused Clapton with rayon in it and it's done very well.

Naturally i cannot help but quote you.

i did see that before but i had to make sure HRH could not see the screen else she'd want one!

i bought some cheap steel shelving for her utility room so she can store cans and whatever in there but i really need some shelves for my room. i know wood can be expensive having bought a few wooden mods, but bloody hell!

I'm wanting to drill out some bottle caps.. the original 6ml caps. I've not seen this talked about before.. is there a preferred way to do it?
    Drill bit size is 11/64"
Preferred way would be to use a drill press, but not necessary.
I like "brad point" bits, as it cuts a cleaner hole, but not necessary.
Basically you need a 11/64" hole, centered in the cap....

The idea is to get away from using o-rings at all in the bottle and this becomes especially important if you vape battery acid as i do, when the o-rings will rot and fail in 3 months or so.

What you are looking to end up with is the tube resistant to being pulled out, but that it expands against the plastic.
I'm sure there was a thread by Masterofnone called the bottle mod in the old Reo forum.

Thanks guys.. I've got lots of caps that I need to mod. Another question.. tubing.. is the dimensions still 1/16" ID x 1/8" OD x 1/32? Looking at the tubing I have now it reads 1/16 x 3/16.. if the size has changed I don't want to order 10ft (minimum order) of the wrong size!

Tubing is measured by the inner diameter and the outer diameter. If you subtract one from the other and divide it in two - because it's a tube and has 2 sides, then that gives you the wall thickness.

In your example above 1/32" will be how thick your liquid tube is.
    Here.
