In the clouds
Hiya all!
QQ7y6.gif

You ever leave all your ECF tabs bookmarked for easy opening? I've had mine open and minimized for over a month LOL!

Update on my quest for a new APV: - A few months ago I set out to find a new APV with all the bells and whistles and learned that in in a short time Temp Control mods along with their rebuildable tanks and coils were all the rage. I've done tons of reading on temperature control devices and sub ohm vaping and I've learned too much technical stuff for it to stick! What I understand now is that cloud-chasing vapers love those devices and while I don't need to vape like a fog machine I wouldn't mind trying it! Like @Katdarling, I love itty bitty mods, so I am looking to pick up an easy to use small TC set-up trial mod. In the meantime I thank all goodness I have my REOs (and Provari if you don't mind my saying so) to use - They've done an outstanding job for me for over 5 years, and if I have nothing else, I'm good!

Update on my ECF Member Status: As you can see, I don't frequent the threads as much as I used to so I am ending my subscription to ECF . I was practically an ECF stalker back in the day - waiting for new posts and posting hellos and responses to everyone on the REO & TrippyTip forums.:laugh:
I suppose I will lose whatever titles ECF gave me, but I will still come around now and again to wave hello & keep in touch with you check in on the latest and greatest in the vape community

In the interest of full disclosure, I have been notified by the other party that he and @floridagolferboi are all square now regarding the REO sale/dispute.

You may now return to your regularly scheduled programming.

Here's some of my old REO porn to get this back on track...

Howdy @Delilah718, RedhatPat here. Put a reo-vet under a blanket fort with fresh batteries and they'll make it rain with all the clouds if they dont get an asbestos tounge first from all this sub ohm business I've been hearing about outside the lounge

I say the the Reo Grand is like a -_-insert your favorite mech here-_- and the VVG is like the Provari of bottom juice feeders because it's regulated and protected right out of the box.

I was a 3 pack a day smoker for over 20 years. A Reo @ 7-8 watts with any ol' carto and atty on top is all I feel I'll _need_ to stay smokefree without risk of landing myself on the 6 o'clock news (or getting an asbestos tongue in 5 years) and since both the Grand & VVG can do this then ya win either way ya slice it. They're both Reos afterall, the Grand is just more versatile.

You just need to be more knowledgable about what's going on when using a Grand (or any mechanical for that matter) because there's no safety in place out of the box like there is in a VVG.

Sorry folks, but a spring is not safety.

We are running the same batteries Rule62. I was going to snag 4 more from RTD when I placed my order a couple days ago but they got me on the MNKE battery sale. Couldnt pass up a 2 to 1 ratio. 20 amps is plenty for what I need as I rarely go below 0.5 ohms. Any word on if the counterfeit LG HG2's (thats the brown one, right?)are still making their rounds? Maybe someone could shed some light on what to look for between authentic vs dangerous.

I don't know if the counterfeit HG2s are still making the rounds or not. They probably are, on eBay and in some B&Ms. I did stop in one of our local shops, a couple weeks ago. I noticed they carried the HG2, so I bought a couple. I checked them out beforehand, paying particular attention to the white top insulator. I was confident they were authentic. They perform exactly the same as my others, which I got from RTD. I figured, if they didn't, I'd just put them in Mrs Rule's Subbox. She only Vapes at about 20 watts, max. I very rarely buy batteries anywhere but RTD, but I had spent a couple hours there, talking to a local vaping buddy, so I figured, what the heck.

At the moment...

Howdy Rule62, RedhatPat here. Pleasure to meet ya! Your REO porn and ECF signature made me think of something an ol' buddy of mine said to me..

What is it to be a human, RHP? Is it to have the chemistry of a man? In the universal scheme of things a dog's chemistry is nearly identical to that of a man. But is a dog like a man? Well, I have noticed over the course of time, a man and his dog will often start to look like one another. But to be a man is to have the heart of a man. Integrity, decency, sympathy: these are the things that make a man a man and someone I knew had them all, had them all, more than you or I.

May you by any chance be related to the man on tv nicknamed "The Dog Whisperer?"

I dunno which is funnier -- what you said or a photo I scanned of me with my one dog in life back when I was in shortpants, so to speak!

Warning, I was not responsible for how my parents dressed me.

Nope, not a 'dog whisperer' by any means. More like the 'dog yeller'. I'm often yelling at one of them about something or other.
Mrs Rule is a groomer; so we have a way of rescuing dogs, for various reasons. Customers give them up, can't take care of them anymore, moving, etc. We've heard it all. All 7 of ours were taken in, for one reason or another.
