it would definitely remove any of the painted finishes like mine, but Traders is TRATry nail polish remover with acetone. It might damage the finish, tho. All it takes is a drop & let it sit a minute.
Rob needs to use the glue you used. I have tried boiling water, but that might bubble my paint also. If you come up with something with the other magnet, let me know. I know Rob uses a solder iron or something like that, then uses a stronger magnet to pull it out once the glue is loosened.Yes, I have tried acetone, no luck. I tried graffiti remover, boiling it in water, and everything else too. It is a raw aluminum so I should be okay with most solvents. This magnet has a mind of its own!
