I think that's the safety lock. That's the one thing I'm not sure about, I rarely spin the button on my REO's and they're fine in my pocket like that. Not sure about the side button and having to pop the hood before I put it away.

Yes, it is the on off switch. Slide to the right to lock, left to fire. It pushes the battery down so it don't make contact with the positive connection. You do have to manually pull the battery down to engage.
Ahhhhhh....for the life of me. Looked at it under a magnifier for 10 minutes. Very cool. Thank you.

P67 hittin well. Put a dual 3mmid, 26g K1, 7/6 in it. Ohms put at .5.

Waiting for the 5th coat of lacquer to dry on my copper vein door so will post my inaugural pics when it's all together. Thanks to Rule 62 for the tip.

Amazed at the size of this little beauty. Just WOW[emoji12]

I think the inboard safety lock is a good idea, considering the side button configuration of the P67. I can see where the P67 might be more likely to auto-fire in a pocket or purse, than the original Grands.
And looks like the P67 switch has no interlock on it like the 2015 Woodies. My Woodie switches are fine but could see them fouling after awhile amd have read other posts where the switches have fouled due to user error or juice mucking.

My Woodie switches have been fine. But I have inadvertently locked them. I have one in particular that turns more loosely than the others, and I'm forever accidentally locking it. It must have something to do with how I press the button.

Yep. I twist when I fire too. Happens on my RGLP all the time but that button is loose as a goose.

Put 5 coats of spray lacquer on my copper vein door. Thanks for the tip. I don't put my hand too much on the door but better safe then sorry. Thanks again.

Rule, do you know a good stock BF pin for the Stumpy? I have ground down Fat Daddy pins but was looking for something that doesn't need modding. Thanks.

Sorry, I don't. Both of my Stumpys came from Catfish. Other than that, the Fatdaddy pins are probably the best bet, although I've personally never bought any.

I had my oldest Grand LP stick in the fire position once and it heated up the atty quick. Rob mentioned that has happened to him too. The new lock on the P67 is a minor hassle but if it goes in a pocket I always engage it. The fire button is very sensitive.

Jup this never happened on my red grand til I put a button cover on there, now it happens all the time. I really like the button protection too. I don't go out much, so wouldn't need to do it a lot, but better safe than sorry. Especially in a purse.

Hope everyone is doing great today!!
