I tried a Z, but found that the space between posts is so tight, I got much better "saturation" capacity with duals.
It runs quite warm (the atty itself) - but I do like a warm vape!
You've got (or had) Nuppins, yes?
It's a similar vape, I think...

I'm pretty excited about the O-16. I never liked smaller attys but mainly because of build decks. The fact I can run a Z coil in a smaller atty and maybe raise my ohms but keep a warm vape makes me excited.

Yeah, I don't like Nuppins at all. I have hope for the O-16 though. If Z coils don't work out, I'll probably not keep it, but it's worth a shot! Duals aren't something I'll ever do again personally.

Interesting how I see people on ECF and in various groups on FB abandoning dual coils. Not long ago, multiple coils were the thing. I still run duals in my Manta V2s, but they are spaced SS coils, not contact Kanthal, which I used to run. The Mantas are still one of my favorite attys. Most of my vaping these days is with either Mantas, Makers, and Stumpys, on which I run SS Z coils. I haven't bought an atty in a while. But lately I've been thinking about a Psyclone Hadaly.

I stopped using duals a long time ago. I could see myself doing a single side-mounted before I could see doing duals. But chances are, if a Z doesn't float my boat in the O-16, back to Stumpys I go. I miss Mantas for their flavor, but without using duals I could never find a satisfactory vape out of them. Not sure what a Psyclone Hadaly is - I've been off the vape stuff train for ages. The O-16 was an impulsive thought simply because it's Stumpy-esque but tampered down a bit, which for whatever reason, I think I may like to tamper down a bit. (I know Stumpys can be dialed down, but they tend to whistle and waste real estate IMO when dialed down)

Dang it, now I'm off to google a Psyclone Hadaly :D

I've been off the atty train for a while too. It was getting too nuts. I keep an eye out. I just don't jump on everything new that comes along anymore. I don't know why. Maybe it's just because I've been building long enough to be able to get a satisfying vape out of whatever I use. I still use an Atomic (RM4) occasionally, which is pretty 'old school' by today's standards. But for whatever reason, the Hadaly did catch my eye.

It does look like a nice atty. Designed for center coil use it seems.

I stopped in a local vape shop the other day, just to see a friend, and shoot the breeze for a while, and ran into another squonker. Actually, I think it was the first I've ever encountered in the wild. He had a regulated squonk box of some sort. I don't remember what it was. But he had it topped with a Hadaly, and was very happy with it; especially the clamping system. Very easy to build, according to him.

That's cool, I could see that. Wow, running into another squonker in the wild - that's pretty neat. Don't think that'd happen to me around here unless someday I run into @KentA on a trail somewhere :D

I don't hang out in vape shops much, although I do know most of the owners and employees around me, because we have a couple pretty active FB groups, and I used to schedule local meet ups, until a couple years ago. So, every once in a while, I'll stop in to see a friend. But from what I've observed, most everyone around me are regulated mod and tank users. There are a few mech mod/drippers around; mostly the cloud chaser and trick crowd. A couple shops have stocked the Kanger Drip Boxes. But I don't think they've been big sellers. So, I was surprised to encounter another squonker person. He seemed fairly knowledgeable. He was quick to recognize the P67 I was using. In fact, I think he said he had tried to get one, at some point. I told him that he just had to keep an eye out, because they are released in limited numbers, and the release dates are announced beforehand.

I almost never go in vape shops - there's not many around me. I did stop in one up in Nova Scotia recently, and was quite impressed with it. Very knowledgeable staff, family-run, Ohm's Law posted as you walk in the door. She had never heard of squonking and was pretty intrigued by my P67. Super nice people. Small, but geared towards helping people and that was a stark contrast from the two I've been in around here.

Thanks Rule! I am all for less maintenance! Will I have to put a coating on it like the Copper Vein to keep it from getting dark?
I really don't need another one but I never use my Grands but I LOVE my minis. I am looking at the 1.0 mini or the 2.1.

Hi Reoville! So I am thinking of adding another REO to my mods and I am torn between the Hammertone and the Tumbled. Any advice or guidance? They both looks beautiful!

I could be wrong. I'm only basing my experience, compared to what I've read from others with tumbled REOs. But apparently it has to do with body chemistry, weird as it sounds. Maybe it's Ph or something. But my hands seem to leave dark, almost black areas on tumbled aluminum. I've read of others who can handle their tumbled REOs without turning them dark. I do the same with brass. I can turn a brass mod dark in a very short time.

I know that I have the same problem! I think I will go with the Hammertone! Thanks guys! I should probably order an extra blue door! It would make for some fine Cowboy game day squonking!
I've never had a LP 2.1 but it looks like I would have more color options when it comes to extra doors!

My tumbled stays pristine, no maintenance at all. The tumbled is my out-and-about mod. It goes traveling with me, mainly because I don't "care" about its finish. I don't like to rough up my beautiful Hammertone in the woods, etc

That's a body chemistry thing though, for sure. I still greatly prefer Hammertone. It's the most beautiful finish of all time.
