My tumbled stays pristine, no maintenance at all. The tumbled is my out-and-about mod. It goes traveling with me, mainly because I don't "care" about its finish. I don't like to rough up my beautiful Hammertone in the woods, etc

That's a body chemistry thing though, for sure. I still greatly prefer Hammertone. It's the most beautiful finish of all time.

I like Hammertone. I also like Black Wrinkled. My two P67s are Hammertone and Black Wrinkle, with SL doors. I have the doors swapped.

This is very random, but for some reason, I think I'm gonna order an O-16 from VapinArt... :?:

Haven't even thought about an atty in a long time. Not sure why now. I guess I'm curious about a Stumpy-esque atty but smaller with more flavor and less airflow. I would kind of like to start vaping a "milder" vape, if I can swing it.

i run my 016 lower than my stumpy

2.5mm single parallel Z coil @0.18 ohm [on parallel battery mods]

you'd be surprised how airy the small hole seems with te small deck... it must be a proportion thing, but definitely DL and more cloud than derringer or stumpy [which were my last 2 RDA i liked before this came out]

So you're an O16 Z'er eh? How do you align the airholes? On the Stumpy I just aim them somewhat diagonally, between the wick end and post, so it shoots directly at the coil. Not sure if the O16 deck is big enough for that.

same, slightly angled

i can only get a 2.5mm coil in, tried 3mm and didn't fit

will get a pic... just a tick

Beautiful! My current gig is a 2.5mm 24G Z coil (SS) so I may just plug that into the O16 when it arrives and go from there. I'm going to try 26g as well. But heck, if the O16 handles the 24g, I may have a blast with the same build. I imagine the flavor goes up a notch or two given the small chamber.

I purchased 2 O-16's from the original run. S/N's 098 / 099 and very quickly sold all other atty's I had. Been no turning back... I originally ran them in dual coil, (2.5mm), mode in the .3Ω neighborhood. When I upgraded the contacts in both of my Reo's I quickly went to single Z-coils, (2.5mm), in both and are in the .5-.6Ω range now. I have at times, thought about even going up to .7Ω+ as they are sometimes a little too warm. I love my O-16's!!!

FYI... When I changed over to the the solid silver contacts, (+ & -), in my Reo's the voltage drop went from .4v down to .18v now. This is what attributed to my Ω's going up...

I don't hang out in vape shops much, although I do know most of the owners and employees around me, because we have a couple pretty active FB groups, and I used to schedule local meet ups, until a couple years ago. So, every once in a while, I'll stop in to see a friend. But from what I've observed, most everyone around me are regulated mod and tank users. There are a few mech mod/drippers around; mostly the cloud chaser and trick crowd. A couple shops have stocked the Kanger Drip Boxes. But I don't think they've been big sellers. So, I was surprised to encounter another squonker person. He seemed fairly knowledgeable. He was quick to recognize the P67 I was using. In fact, I think he said he had tried to get one, at some point. I told him that he just had to keep an eye out, because they are released in limited numbers, and the release dates are announced beforehand.
Kinda changing the subject here but after almost 7 years tobacco-free thanks to Robert's fine mods--I have actually never been in a vape shop. We have a few up here in the boonies and of course in Spokane there are many. I just don't see need when everything I require is just a click away.

I don't go in them often either. When I do, it's usually to visit with someone I know. I may buy a drip tip, here and there, or things like wicking material, like Cotton Bacon, which I use.

Are you using 26 or 28g SS?
28, 2.5mm 7 wraps. It's more responsive, and quieter FWIW. I'm really liking it a lot.

Speaking of responsive, my TRA has been misfiring a bit lately. I've wiped the contacts down with IPA and I regularly clean the firing pin the way Rob shows for the P67. Any suggestions?

I figured 28g. That's what I use for duals in my Mantas and Thumps. I shall have to try the parallel Z coil.
As for cleaning your P67; are you also being sure to clean the top battery contact? I've had misfires when I've occasionally used Sony VTC5 batteries. Something about the metal on the Sonys. I've never had a misfire with the LG HG2s I usually use.

Yeah, I keep the batteries pretty shiny. The gold plate that makes contact to the battery top is a bit dark, and the IPA hasn't helped much with that. I'm tempted to use some 3000grit on it with a quick rub, but I know that's a big no-no on the gold plating so I won't.

Muzichead does it right with those solid silver contacts of his. They can be sanded when needed and kept pristine in addition to how hard they hit in general. I'm tempted to see if Corey could do that for the P67. But then he'd know I sold my CCs, and I don't want to hurt his feelings :D

I don't sand mine. I use a folded over strip of cloth bandage tape, wetted with IPA. It's just rough enough to clean the dark off of the contact.

As an aside for @Rule62 or anyone else who may be interested/may not know, turns out the coil master jig can produce parallel builds. I had never done it, but see, the older I get the more slothy I get. So, that's what I just did. Using the blue screwdriver you can back out the little nub that twists the wire around. It made (an already easy process) it all the easier and damn near perfect. Mounting the parallel coil Z style is also easier than it looks.

Ok, I'll do that again and be more persistent, slash scrub a little harder perhaps. It's not a big deal as of right now, but it could become one eventually.
