All this talk about the O-16 and I bit. May need to add another squonker for a self Xmas present.
That's the stuff of nightmares! It's not that cold actually, it's in the 20s.
Although to a Texan, I guess that's downright frigid eh?![]()
that's pretty, but I was gonna say much the same as Paul........I think it should be a rule that anyone who posts snow pics should also have to post a pic of a roaring fire!

You guys would freak at the temps that @KentA and I experience![]()
Not me. I used to have to work outdoors in that stuff sometimes. That's why I headed to Florida when I retired.
Damn, can't like this...Still no Hadaly. I'm thinking it's lost in the mail. Unfortunately, trying to reason with USPS is about as useless as trying to eat jello with chopsticks. "Give it more time." Is all I get.![]()
I think it's the snowbirds clogging the highways. The tracking shows it took 2 days to get from Sioux Falls, SD to Orlando.
Good so far.
Sat in Orlando for 2 days.
Left Orlando Friday night for my local PO. (50 miles away)
It's now Monday, and still no Hadaly.
Grew up in the Southeast - hate the heat and humidityGrew up in the Midwest - hate the snow and cold
If you call USPS at the phone # on the tracking page, tell them you want to open an investigation they'll do it. You'll need your tracking #. Your package should be found within a day & back on the road to you. I've done it at least three times.Still no Hadaly. I'm thinking it's lost in the mail. Izzit possible to freak when yur frozen solid?? hehehe I have lived in it. I was in dayton ohio during the blizzard of 78 25 foot snow drifts. 70 below windchill. Quite a few died, one because her house was buried in snow and no one knew she was there. She was an elderly woman and apparently had no one to check on her. That breaks my heart. I was in HS and on the days we had school, I walked to school in that mess. You guys would freak at the temps that @KentA and I experience![]()

what do they call snowbirds that stay?I think it's the snowbirds clogging the highways.
Funny enough the coldest i have ever been was in NC. Got caught in a blizzard in the mountains, totally unprepared. Barely made it out alive. The temp was probably only 30ish.Izzit possible to freak when yur frozen solid?? hehehe I have lived in it. I was in dayton ohio during the blizzard of 78 25 foot snow drifts. 70 below windchill. Yipes. Jup those temps are very dangerous when you're unprepared and get caught in it. Very glad you survived!Funny enough the coldest i have ever been was in NC. Got caught in a blizzard in the mountains, totally unprepared. Barely made it out alive. The temp was probably only 30ish.
More people die of hypothermia in the 40s up here than any other temp. Its amazing really...when you are unprepared, heck even 50 could be deadly.
One of my friends got frostbite on that hike in NC. It was very scary.
Frogswhat do they call snowbirds that stay?
lmao!Frogs

That's the first thing I do. I get text alerts sent to my phone for every tracking#. If it gets stuck somewhere for a couple of days I do a reply text of HELP & & they send a phone# in reply. I call that # & tell them I want to open an investigation. I give them my tracking # & very shortly I'll get a phone call from where ever it got stuck. They've already found it, flagged it & they just about hand carry it from that point.I may do that. I got basically nowhere with the supervisor at my local PO.
