I love me some old blues. I'm studying jazz at the moment. I have a fair amount of technical ability from 14 years of playing bass, but my musical vocabulary is abysmal. Studying jazz is proving fun and a great way to really "learn the fretboard" and the theory. Plus, I just love jazz.
that's kewl. Love me some jazz! All types.

My very first guitar was a 1960's Fender music master like this one. I really miss that old guitar. I let a "friend" use it for awhile, and never got it back.
so sorry that happened.

Loved all the guitar pics folks put up

Anyone know if those 10ml Cappy bottles fit the 2015 woodvil? I swore I'd never get one because they're insanely priced, but I'm considering it now that I've found a juice that will likely not ever leave the woodvil.
Now that I"ve seen a pic someone posted in the 10 or so pages I was behind :D I do see that these have that silicone seal. Is that the big draw to these over the FIBs rob sells? Or is there something else? I've always said I have zero leaking issues with the FIBs, but yesterday I did have an issue with one bottle, so I put it in time out til I can investigate and get it's heart right about that.

For those of you who have the O-16 clone or the authentic, I ordered and received these set screws from McMaster carr. They are the same as the one's in my clones, and should also be the one's for the authentic. I got the extended dog screws, M3 X 3mm.
McMaster-Carr
ok......you know Imma idiot when it comes to these things.....but the link you put up showed a buncha screws. Doubtful I'll get an 016, but just in case I ever do, can you post a link to the specific one pleasey please. Several said extended, but none of em said anything bout being a dog. Also, does bolt depot carry them by chance?
Bolt Depot - Nuts and Bolts, Screws and Fasteners online They usually have better prices and a bit better shipping.

When I ordered from Mc Master, I didn't see any shipping options, I probably just missed them, but the pack of 25 shipped "next day" for $9.54 w/tax total.
They seem a bit arbitrary with their shipping. The one time I ordered from them it was because I wanted derringer and nuppin screws, and bolt depot only had one of them, not the other. I called em (or maybe emailed, don't recall) cuz the no shipping thing confused me. They don't tell you what it is. I reckin they're used to folks buying 100's of $ or maybe more of stuff and they aren't as concerned about shipping. They said small things usually run between 6.00 and 10.00 for shipping. I really didn't like that answer but they ended up charging me 6.00ish

This is another useful alternative for screwing. You'll like it.
I got a similar set at harbor freight. It only has a few hex bits, but seems to have the ones I need.

I'm setting on 25 screws that I will probably never use!!
So if I ever get one, maybe I'll buy some from you :D

Law of Slothdom: if a Sloth has spare screws a sloth never loses the originals. If a Sloth has no spares, all the originals are lost.

^Truth.
I've long suspected it, but now I am certain...........we're all sloths!! :p

that made me giggle

I just had a problem with McMaster Carr
The screws on the web site were about $4.25
My final bill they sent for approval was $4.25
This morning after they shipped they added another $6.00 for shipping.
I yelled alot and they dropped the shipping charge
kewl, I didn't yell and paid the 6.00 cuz I knew about it from having contacted them ahead of time, and I was glad it wasn't 10.00

X-Mas Greetings from Vienna to all

love yur new avi and banner thingy

Not sure if this is in the right place.. although I finally found the reonauts lounge. Anyone have the reomizer 9 or a vector? I found the authentic vector online for about 30 bucks and I have the reomizer 9. I was wondering if I could possibly switch out the center posts so I could have an authentic bf vector.. the rm9 is great but would like a backup
welcome!! Never used one, so dunno........but just wanted to welcome ya to the lounge.

Sounds kinda selfish but they pretty much have you by the short and curly's on these... Where else are you going to find this screw that cheap? I sold fasteners for almost 30yrs and I can tell you that their price with shipping is about $50 cheaper than any metric house in the country. You can buy cup point metric all day long, but dog point is like finding a needle in a hay stack in a quantity of 25!!!
Jup. LIS bolt depot was a lot cheaper......like on the one they had, I could have gotten 100 for less than what MC charged for 25, but they didn't have the other one. I'd never need 100, but figgered I could toss 10 or so in an envelope to a few folks if they needed em. But they didn't have the other one I needed, and I wasn't paying shipping from 2 places.

Up here, bad traffic means waiting for 3 cars to pass before turning left.
used to be that way here but no more. This area used to be small Texas town paradise, but it's all been built up so much in the last 10 yrs.

but not nice like Palm Springs,
My granny used to live in palm springs. I got to visit her once but I was only 4 or 5 so I don't remember

but the fact remains...it won't or rather can't drain completely and in my book its a leaker!!
I do have that issue with the Rm8 but like someone else said, I rarely go anywhere with em. But my son's phone smelled really good last time he was in the hospital. While leaving, I was pushing his wheel chair, so asked him to hold it. Forgot to tell him to hold it upright and it musta had a fresh squonk in it when they told him to git (yes I vaped for 3 days in his room and they never knew)..... he laid it down on top of his phone on his lap.

Top air attys would be a good solution, for those who carry mods around in their pocket, or are always tipping them. Unfortunately, there aren't many good ones. About the only ones I like are the Maker, Manta2, and the Thump. I didn't care much for the Rogue.
jup that was one thing I loved about the nuppin. anyone make a postless nuppin with derringer airflow? and I only heard 1 or 2 folks say they did like the rogue. One lady that used to come to the lounge liked em, but can't recall who it was. Quite a few folks who used to come in there never made their way here... :(

and I only have to wick my coils once every 6+ months or so. They can be dry burned with RxW in place...
so, since a sweetie sent me some to try, how ezactly do ya know when to replace the rxw? does it just start tastin funny? I am enjoying not having to take it out and put new in like with cotton. As to flavor......I think I like kgd a bit more, but this isn't bad at all. It does speak to the lazy in me. :D

Cactus Cooler
did a search for this on their site but it said "we never heard of the stuff" I'm paraphrasing. What's the flavor profile of this?

Just a word of caution,
I ordered a few things off gearbeast because I wanted to try the clone before I dropped the coin on the real deal (lovin the charm). My order came to $112 and $35 shipping. They were nice enough to take over a month to deliver and split my order in 2 shipping bags (5 items in one bag and 1 item in the second) even though I requested all items in one box. Got the stuff, had to scrap the Narda because the squonk pin would only grab by a half a thread and messed up the positive plate in the RDA. The other RDA I got specifically for squonking didnt even come witha squonk pin like it said it would. I do like the Coppervape tho. I got a notice from Fed Ex saying I had to pay an additional $29 for the first box and $21 for the second box! Are you kidding me?! Thats the last time I ever order anything overseas again. I should have just ordered the Charm from Vapinart.
someone on another thread had an issue with fex ex charging that fee and theirs was on prizes they'd won. They eventually got it removed, but two people had to deal for about a month I think with GB just trying to get the right prizes and get em delivered to em. It was a mess.

Hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas.

I didn't see any at Bolt Depot, but here they are at McMaster Carr. I didn't check Grainger, don't know if they have them or not, and what there price, and shipping would be.
Never mind, that link didn't work either. Just search in Mc Masters site for 92775A010

Just popping in to wish the whole Reo family warm holiday wishes and a happy new year.

I haven't been in here, but just know you guys have been in my mind and my heart.
Wow! Good to see ya hun!! Hope you have a very blessed 2017 but hope we get to see more of ya.

Just search in Mc Masters site for 92775A010
Thanks so much for the hand holdies. I had searched a number that also had letters in it from the pic of the bag, but that pulled up lots of stuff too. Got this bookmarked now should it become something I need in the future. I bookmarked it in my REO folder....... (just in case I later ask someone where the heck I bookmarked it)

Wow, where to start?? Sorry all...

The bottle itself is made of silicone and is molded where the top cap slips over the bottle top to create the seal. I will try to take a pic to post here so you can better understand. Its a 4 piece set up that consists of the bottle, tube, top cap, and lower cap...
ok......you know Imma idiot when it comes to these things.....but the link you put up showed a buncha screws. This is a specialized screw and there are very few places in the world that sell them. Normally you would have to go to a Metric house to get these and just the minimum order would be between $25-$250 from them. That charge could be a line charge, order charge, or both separately... Thats how specialized they are.
So if I ever get one, maybe I'll buy some from you :D
Mine are soon to be gone with gear... Sorry...
so, since a sweetie sent me some to try, how ezactly do ya know when to replace the rxw? does it just start tastin funny? I am enjoying not having to take it out and put new in like with cotton. As to flavor......I think I like kgd a bit more, but this isn't bad at all. It does speak to the lazy in me. :D
I would say mostly I have only changed mine due to boredom of the build. Because it can be dry burned inside the coil, when you clean your coil it automatically cleans the RxW at the same time and makes it fresh like it was the 1st time you put it in there...

eta... I am taking out the rant and making a separate thread as I can see why Deb thought it was aimed at her, which it wasn't...

I didn't have a problem with them charging the 6.00 LIS I'm sure they would prefer not to even deal with us when we're ordering a bag or two of screws for a few bucks. Didn't have my knickers inna knot, sorry if it sounded like that.....but I didn't like not knowing what they were gonna charge me. I have very few $ to spend usually and the difference of a few $ can make a huge difference many times in whether I have enough to cover it or not.

For the bottles, yeah I got that from your pic........was just wondering if that was what folks were liking about these pricey ones over the FIB or if there was something else about them. I don't have an issue with the FIBs leaking (mostly), so the pricey ones probably aren't an interest to me if that's the reason folks are liking them more and willing to pay that for them.

Ive been using the bottle for a day now and honestly, Im not a big fan. Sure, it squonks ridiculously easy. That would be a dream bottle for many but I have zero issues squonking.

That said I dont regret having one but its the only one I will ever get. Definitely worth having one. It will be nice in the woodvil, and in the P67 on cold day hikes. I have it in the P67 now because Im hiking tomorrow. It will be very nice on the treks.

It does obliterate the other fancy italian bottles, which seem very cheap in comparison, namely at the cap threads. This also seems to ACTUALLY hold 8 ish ml which the other italian bottles did not, but i have not measured to be sure.

Just to touch on the McMaster-Carr subject again, the reason they charge such outrageous freight is because they can first and foremost!! They aren't the only company in the industry that does this!! By the time you tracked down a lot of items they sell, just the line charge or minimum order charge is going to be much more than paying their freight. They don't work off a very big markup on a lot of their products and a standardized freight charge from everyone helps offset that usually. They do buy most of their products in box quantity and have to pay someone to sit there and sort the items out and package them in the quantities they sell. This particular screw purchased from almost any metric fastener house would be sold in either a box of 1000, 10,000, or more. They are very up front about said freight charges, if you take the time to read their conditions of sale, (and you actually have to accept said conditions to even buy from them), you would already know about this and you also agreed to it as well when you hit the complete order button...

I don't mean to make this sound like a huge rant or anything like that, but it just miffs me when someone gets their panties in a bunch over something this menial and that they have absolutely no knowledge of what goes into it... I have over 30+yrs experience in the Industrial Tool and Supply industry, with 98% of my business in fastener sales alone... Just as an example, it takes money and time to sell only 25 screws for $4.25 and I would venture the guy separating into pkg/25 makes at least $10 /hr or more.....yet someones gonna ..... about $10 in freight!! Does it make more sense now??????

Rant over....

The rant wasn't aimed at you Deb... Sorry if it came off that way...

The silicone bottles are even softer than the FIB's over at Robs is why everyone likes them. Very soft and effortless to squonk...
Truly, the effortlessness of the squonk cannot be communicated in words. It is indescribable how anything could be so soft.

I was talking to pdib while back about the Sunbox bottles, and ultimately decided against them. He mentioned that the problem with the cheaper FIBs is that they aren't consistent. You may get a good one; you may not. Also, they do have a tendency to eventually split. The Sunbox bottles are more consistent, and longer lasting. But at the price, I don't think I want to outfit 12 mods with them. Pdib told me that once you try one, it will spoil you, and you'll want them in all your squonkers. So, I figure I'd better stay away. I'm not ready to spend over $300 on squonk bottles. I have a fairly strong grip anyway, and living in Florida, it never gets brutally cold. The standard issue 6ml REO bottles suit me.

I've got mine running, and I'm 100% agreed.
It's nice, but not getting more...

a) It did NOT fit well in my woodvil - just the P67
b) even with the stretchy tube, and @muzichead's excellent advice to not screw it over-tight, it is STILL a bit of a hassle for me to unscrew and refill. I'm sure I could get better at it, but it's tricky cuz I can't grab and turn the bottle (it's too soft - it'll squonk) but have to grab the upper and lower cap.

I DO appreciate a soft squonk - but the regular FSB's are fine (or, for that matter, the stock Coppervape bottles) - I just have that "seep at the threads" and have added a quick thread wipe to every refill.

I myself had problems with squonking the 6ml Reo bottles in the wintertime around here with my arthritic hands. The FIB bottles were better, but as Rule pointed out, they are inconsistent from one to another. The silicone bottles were basically a no brainer for my hands and would make the decision to buy more regardless of how many devices I had... I might also add, they are the 1st bottle I have had in my grands that you can squonk every last drop, (bone dry), of juice out of the bottle. I've tried with the others and couldn't get the last 1-2ml out of them.

I think it was Drifter that pointed out in either Corey or Peter's thread, think of the device you are putting them in!! Would it make sense to put them in a dripbox or a pico squeeze? The answer is no, but for a really nice P67, Grand, Woodvil, CC, Pdib, or something alike the answer would be yes...

So they are $20+ a pop, but ask yourself this, how many $10-20 drip tip's do you have stashed away in the I don't vape this stuff anymore box or drawer? How many out there have more than a few Mole Hill Mountain or other high end tip maker drip tips? I'm sure they cost just the same if not more!!

shux! I just ordered a couple of them specifically for my 2 woodvils. What was the holdup? Any word on how these fit in the Lil Pinch? If @Rule62 had a conversation with Peter, prolly A ok. Normally I have strong hands but its going to be below 0 here and nothing is strong at those temps except ice... And the juice im trying to push through the squonk hole.

I looked back through my PM convo with Peter. Yes, the Sunbox bottles do fit and work fine in the Pinch.

I think only the 8.5ml bottles will fit Peter's device...

Apparently not. I just read back through our convo. Peter said he had been gifted a couple of the SB bottles, and they fit fine in the Pinch.

SB makes a 8.5ml and a 10ml and there is a big difference between the two. That is why I said I thought the 8.5ml is the one that will fit. It would be best for whomever to actually check with him prior to buying whatever they buy though...
