I hear you on this. Duals are like twin carbs on a hemi.

I generally use 3mm ID with a twisted to try and maximize surface contact with the wick and allow it a larger reservoir within the coil. I have a fair few atties that necessitate single coils, so I've got dialling a twister down pretty much pat. The trick for me is getting the right air onto it.
I love the supercharged effect of duals. I'm going to try a single parallel and a single twisted and see if I get what I want. I love a dense, warm and full vape. I haven't been able to get that on any single coil atty out there, even if the air is workable.

Got a P67 and my Wayne's Woodvil for the job of cleaning up dog and mouse feces in dad's basement. The constant aroma of vapor that 2 mods provide was critical in keeping sane / not up-chucking during the process.

I am with you on the twisted wire, do you space the wire or wrap it tight?

I work with contact coils pretty much exclusively. No particular reason other than I really got into building when microcoils dropped on the scene. I'd used spaced on gennies for a short time before that. Gennies are still the only RTA I'd consider to this day - basically a dripper with a reservoir.

New to me P67 (thanks, seller!).:headbang:

Pretty certain already it's JUST what I was hoping: a rock solid everyday road mod...a potential eventual heir to my LP Grand (who sent a postcard from the spa in Maine today, and should be sporting a new 510 by now).

Popped in a Modmakers UK bottle.
Also new - the O-atty slam cap, which is on a Catfished Chin-O-atty. Looks kinda squat, but maybe I'll get used to that.
Working flawlessly, vaping GREAT first time out.

contact coils do it for me; fancy coil builds never appealed to me.

IMO, fancy coil builds are a waste of time on single 18650 mods. I guess they work fine on multiple battery and regulated mods. I don't own one. I couldn't care less about coil 'artwork'. Once it's wicked, and the cap is on, I don't see the coil again until it's time to dry burn and rewick.

Nice! I personally like the chopped look on a P67 that the slam cap affords.

Where did you get the cap, BTW?

Got it on eBay actually, where I RARELY buy anything, let alone vape gear. But only really saved a few bucks compared to direct from the source here, from Odis.

A little much, but I think I had an idea that I'd REALLY like an O-atty with a reduction in chamber...

Thank you, sir. I've got a Chin-O-Atty coming soon and was thinking like you.
