No, No, don't read too much into it, Deb. He was amiable and friendly and reminded me he could mill down my SP Grands if I wanted to go that route. I just felt like I was infringing on his semi-retirement space. It's probably me, not Robert.

Must be you - when I called him up to talk about buying stuff I couldn't get him off the phone. And then he followed it up with a couple e-mails. (I really think he misses us.)

I do believe if Rob really doesn't want to do something he will let anyone know.

Guys any of you have pics of 2015 Utile Woodvils? I once had a Utile mini that was literally golden and looked stunning, but I'm not quite getting that same vibe off the ones left at Reo's site.

Somewhere buried deep in the 2015 Woodvil thread in the archive there are progress pics of the woodies. However those will be the whole batch, not separated out by wood types. It may still give you a better idea of what the finishes look like if you can find the images.

Said it recently in another post - for whatever reason the pics Rob put up here always seem to look better than the images on the web site.

I bookmarked the page and will take a look to see what I find on you tube. I'm still having trouble with the wicks burning up real quick on this premium ejuice. That didn't happen with my DIY liquids. I'm teaching Gabriel how to mix this pm. I can't afford him.

i clear coated my copper vein Reo before i used it at all. i realise the temptation is to have a vape and see how it goes, but if you spill juice on it or have excessively sweaty hands (i realise that that's unlikely unless you met me) then you have to clean the mod and so on.

To stop varnish getting in the 510 consider fitting a 510 adaptor in there or an old atty, which can also double as something to hang it up to dry by. from which to dry.

So far so good her and the kid are out for a bit. I think she knows better than to try to disappear on me with my boy like my last wife did with my daughter. she ended up bringing her back to me 6 months later she couldn't handle it anymore and my boy well he can make this wife crazy in a matter of a couple days and she has to get away from him Got a lawyers appt for next tues wish it was sooner but its what it is.

Not to change the subject but I could use a little advice from my fellow REOnauts. With the impending FDA nonsense hanging over my head, I'd like to pick up a couple of rba's to eventually take over the chores that my 2 aging RM2's have performed so well over the years. Robert doesn't seem to carry the RM2 any more and I was hoping to find a reasonably-priced rba that will fit my SP Grands--set up for bottom-feeding of course. Is there such an animal? Any help would be appreciated.

Apex and catfish both do send ins for RDAs and they also have some of their own. There are also quire a few that come stock with a bad pin. Custom classic has also been known to do some upgrades/work on REOs.

Great suggestion Rick! I actually had a poly Utile once before and it was beautiful. I think the reason the remaining mods look different to me is the oil finish look. I looked through and there's some seriously nice wood there .

I'm going to call Rob tomorrow and see what he has to say about what is the best of the bunch.

Also just for fun I put a woodvil WTB up lol, maybe I'll wake up to some beauties

Rob still has 100+ of the RM2 for the LP that he can machine down for the SP that you have. Just give him a call and he will send you a PP invoice for it or he will just have you buy the LP one and mill it down. Either way he will get it done for you... Just takes a phone call or email.

oh good! Well don't feel that way......I would imagine he wants the business unless ya just felt he'd rather mill down the mod instead of mill down the rm2.

For now, it appears that Robert only has the dual-coil RM3's in stock. Would they vape the same as the single coil version if only used with one coil?

yeah like Rick said, the base is the same, but the top cap has either one hole or two.

I'm teaching Gabriel how to mix this pm. I can't afford him.

@bushmaster - looks like you can get some more RM2's sorted since you appear to have been attached to them for so long. I'll second the Origin 16mm recommendation, it's a belter and does single or dual coils. You can always stick the end of a toothpick in the second RM3 hole to block it off !
and sorry for not giving you a wave when we passed by the Grand Coulee Dam on the way to Calgary back in the day...
