Hi All,

I am looking for a good sub ohm build with my RM2. I currently have just 28 gauge wire, but could get a different gauge, if needed. .5 ohms or so would be terrific! If you could tell me what gauge wire, bit size and # of wraps that would be really helpful.

I currently have the 28 gauge, twisted, around 2.0mm bit and its coming in at .7 ohms. It does take awhile for the coil to heat up, so I am wondering what a good alternative might be. And..if I don't have to twist wire, well, that is a bonus!

Thanks!

Use Steam Engine's Coil Wrapping, and play around with it. :)

Yes, I know that. However, what I was looking for are builds that folks are currently using that are working well for them. I can play around, as I have, but there is history and experience on this forum that could help. Thanks.

Try going with the twisted but in 2.5mm diameter 6/5 wrap instead. That will put you in at .5Ω or same diameter coil in 26g A1 4/3 wrap should be the same...

Jup it was a hip replacement.
Interesting... My 81yr old mother just had her 2nd hip, (left), done last month and was up and walking, (w/ a walker of course), about 4hrs later and released from the hospital in 3 days. She had her right hip done a year ago March and was out in 3 days as well. She had about 4 weeks of therapy, (3 days a week), but that is about it... I hope Kay gets better real soon...

duplicate... Whats going on with this forum today???

Something seems to be amiss ever since I got several 404 and "Couldflair offline" error messages early this morning. Ever since a lot of my alerts aren't working right. (Out of all the posts here on page 83 I only received an alert for one new post.) Other threads - I'm now not receiving alerts at all. Very spastic like that.

ETA: The weirdness now seems to be gone and alerts are back to working as of late this afternoon. (Who broke the internets?)

Yeah she was up and walking right away also. They sent her to a rehab, but there was some type of complication, she wasn't sure what, so they sent her back to hospital. They were going to put her in the rehab there, but just sent her home instead. She'll have some in home PT. She posted on the porch briefly today that she'd prefer being in the rehab for now since she lives alone, but was going today to get the stitches out. I'm sure she'll be fine. They'd said the surgery went very well. That's wonderful your mother did so well with it.

Thanks for the kind words guys. And feel free to laugh and all that lol. I can take it.

It's just so sad.. After all these years it happened at home on my kitchen floor.... It was my first mod and favorite.... How do you replace a classic like that?? :(
If you called Rob he would ask you if you had any crazy glue and clamps[emoji106] [emoji106] [emoji106] [emoji106] [emoji106] [emoji106] [emoji106]
