Yep..the one with the blues. It's sooo much like water element. Love it! And the # 11 is the gold, very earthy. I still haven't spoken to @oldbroad since her surgery, but I'll let you know what she says.

I think you'll like it! I just hope I haven't hyped it up so much it disappoints you. I think I tend to do that when something works well for me, I get so excited. But it is great stuff. I look forward to hearing your take on it my friend
I have been fooling around with the 316L SS all afternoon. After 3 or 4 builds, I'm currently running a 9 wrap, 24g, 2.5mm diameter, in a Maker. I'm switching back and forth, comparing it with my other Maker, which has a spaced parallel, 6 wrap, 26g kanthal. Both are wicked with cotton. I'm not a big rayon guy.
I must say that they both vape very well. I don't find the kanthal yucky, compared to the ss; but I do find the ss to be smoother. It's definitely a smooth, thick, full vape. The kanthal is more of a 'bam, in your face' type vape. I do really like the ss, although I'm not ready to toss all my kanthal...at least not yet. I have not tried any 26g ss yet.
You probably won't taste any ickiness off kanthal. I only noticed with unflavored (my favorite vape, personally). I'm all over the 24g lately. Keep me posted, keep me tagged

I'll definitely keep you posted. For me, at this point, I'm thinking they both have their place. The ss provides nice, long, slow draws, with big time vapor. You can feel the heat level out, as you continue to draw. I'm assuming it's because of the resistance climb. I don't use a lot of flavor either; just a touch, in my otherwise unflavored. But sometimes, I like that quicker heat up and bite that the kanthal provides.
I wonder if you can do contact coils with ss? I don't know that I have any need, just curious.
In all my mechs, I'll probably be changing to SS as I go along, but in my Provaris, I guess I'll have to keep using Kanthal, as I've read that SS doesn't work too well in a regulated mod.
Yeah, you can do contact coils for sure. I haven't tried it personally, but I know several people who do use contact SS coils. No problems at all.

Kay was getting the hippy thing done? (Ouch!) She was most likely transferred from the hospital straight into PT rehab. Will probably be MIA for a while but I hope she gets a chance to check in soon with a status report. She's been silent since the day before she was going in.

So....finally got hold of Kay tonite........been trying to get hold of her for 3 days. They had sent her to the "other" rehab that was supposed to be so nice.......well.......they might have linen tablecloths, but they don't take care of ya. Some type of complication arose. She wasn't sure if it was infection or what it was.........so the rehab sent her to the ER. In true kay fashion, after waiting for 3 hours to be seen.......she called a cab and went home! The cab driver all but carried her in the house, got her remote, some coffee, etc. Next day, she ended up talking to her doc or someone, who told her to get her .... back in the ER!! So Chey took her up there today. She is waiting there now, but when passing her area, a doc stopped backed up and looked.....it was one of the docs who'd done her surgery, so he told her he was the only osteo on call, and he had a couple ahead of her, but he would find out what was going on and get her fixed!!! So I told her to let me know when she knows what's going on. She sounded great. She kept saying that I on the other hand, cuz of my cold, sounded like a dirty old man over the phone!
her granddaughter called me after the surgery and I posted an update, and then I didn't hear anymore, so was trying to get hold of her, finally did tonite.

Good to know Kay survived the surgery. The question now is: Will her specialists survive Kay?
