I'm not gonna sleep for a week now !
Listening to this stuff
well stop listenin to it silly girl!! :)

The question now is: Will her specialists survive Kay?
this remains to be seen!! She's taking it very seriously though, but also for that reason, she'll ride their butts if they don't take care of her right, as she should! She's got plenty of pep still. She knew right away she'd do everything they told her to do so she could have the best outcome! Just hope she doesn't have long lasting issues, over someone's incompetence and neglect!!

So....finally got hold of Kay tonite........been trying to get hold of her for 3 days. They had sent her to the "other" rehab that was supposed to be so nice.......well.......they might have linen tablecloths, but they don't take care of ya. Some type of complication arose. She wasn't sure if it was infection or what it was.........so the rehab sent her to the ER. In true kay fashion, after waiting for 3 hours to be seen.......she called a cab and went home! The cab driver all but carried her in the house, got her remote, some coffee, etc. Next day, she ended up talking to her doc or someone, who told her to get her .... back in the ER!! So Chey took her up there today. She is waiting there now, but when passing her area, a doc stopped backed up and looked.....it was one of the docs who'd done her surgery, so he told her he was the only osteo on call, and he had a couple ahead of her, but he would find out what was going on and get her fixed!!! So I told her to let me know when she knows what's going on. She sounded great. She kept saying that I on the other hand, cuz of my cold, sounded like a dirty old man over the phone!:facepalm:
Thank you!

Got my Derringer from eBay today, but it has such a deep well, I'm not sure Rob can tool it for a bottom feeder. I'm going to ship it to him and see what he thinks he can do. Worst case scenario, the brass cover doesn't fit his RM8. Then I'll have to go with black instead of brass. Not gonna kill me, but I'm rather spoiled and like to have things my way whenever possible. I'm also candid and honest.

did you happen to notice the well in mine? Is it deeper than that? They do have a fairly deep juice well. If he can take out the pin and replace it with a bf pin, or drill it out, no biggie. If he cuts a channel in it, it'll still squonk and drain, it just may not drain as fast. You will just need to make sure you're not squonking the atty full of juice. Just depends on what the pin is made of as to what he can do with it

I still don't know if I'm squonking correctly. I think I oversquonk. When I look at it open, it takes very little pressure to feed the wick, but I usually press hard enough to hear it bubble...seems like if I don't, the wick dries too quickly, after just a hit or two. My biggest problem is that I'm a chain vaper. I can burn through a few wicks a day when I'm writing. Which is what I do all day...and drink coffee. So by midnight, I'm flying pretty high on stimulants. And my best writing is between midnight and four o'clock in the morning. I spend all morning on marketing, but don't get into the writing zone until about now.

The ss is growing on me. I just put a 24g, 8 wrap Z coil in one of my Stumpys. Smooth as silk.

Keeping a good thought for Kay, her hip and the staff

Those Patinas are gorgeous!

As the FDA ruling has been un-folding, I'm feeling quite confident knowing that we made the right choice (choices) with purchasing Reos. Not much to maintain there.

I just received some SS today and am looking forward to playing with it. I posted something in. The technical thread just in case some of you nice folks might want to check on it

Ya mean like the lil suction noise? I like that too. I've never gotten a good answer on if I should hear that or not but I always did til recently, now not as much. I've heard some say if they hear that, that's when they'll get leaks, or it's a dreaded sound, but I dunno why, I always liked it. Now I only hear it if I vape the reo super dry. Now going through several coils a day while writing..........Get rid of the dragon speak and type!!! Then you'll have to put the Reo down!! hehehe

I quit vaping at .3 a long time ago, because though I prefer the vape quality it was always a tad harsh on my throat and after a few days I'd be feeling it. Been using .3 with SS 24ga for 5 days now and my throat feels great. We're using the exact same build, 8 wraps Z in a Stumpy :)

Me? Usually 4 mg, sometimes 2 or 3.
i'm surprised you get much throat hit at all from that. i found those low builds uncomfortable when i vaped at 18mg and back then i even added a bucketload of cinnamon redhot flavour too!
i had to switch to RDA's because my juice melted tanks and o-rings.

I think that's the big difference I'm starting to notice. When you take a draw with a low resistance kanthal build, you know when to stop. It's starting to get harsh, or hot, or whatever. You know when to stop, and it's time to exhale. With the same resistance build with ss, it seems like you could just continue to draw; limited only by whatever lung capacity you have. It just doesn't seem to become harsher. It's a tough concept to describe, and I may be describing it wrongly. It's just very smooth stuff.
