i thought Tim was 'big hitter'. Sloth was in various incarnations 'emotionalstabilitysloth' last time i think.

Rob semi-retired although Reos mods is still going strong. I'm supposing that such a web presence was no longer needed and was costly.

I believe (could be wrong) both have the name Tim. Not sure. Could be just the weather getting to him. REO Grands are just toooo good of a product to walk away from. Maybe we all can beg him to reopen it. I'll be first on the knee pleading that it needs to be open and fully operational. It's Home. It's just home.

vaping gear can be such a subtle thing...
I just spent 10 minutes swapping drip tips around, until I got just the right mix, the way the tip and the natural draw of the atty impact each other. #squonkgeek

AWWWW! Now seeing that makes it feel like home! Gorgeous Reo's! I'm still using the RM2 and RM3, and single coils. It's all my poor lungs can handle. LoL.

Congratulations on graduating!

Some of us are counting on you to pay for our dotage!

What resistance Chili? Any at all? Dual coils are the business and i cannot live with a crappy single coil anymore.

You can beg and plead all you want and it will be for naught... Rob closed the Reo forum so he could concentrate on other projects along with Reo's... You can still call or email him and he will answer just the same as he always did in the past. For the time being we are just hanging out in this thread and a couple over in the APV/Liquid feed section...

If you make 2 coils then it halves the resistance assuming you fit them both and don't leave one on the table! :p

So you make them at double the figure you want to end up at.

Unless you are dissatisfied with the vape you get, sub-ohming is not the way to go.
It opens up a different set of issues such as battery safety and so on.

When i was a young Trunker - my adv was a bit of 32g kanthal, 4 wraps on a bit of wet string and good to go. Two of those was 1Ω exactly.

But, if you'd like to try a Clapton coil, and i'm not flirting here since i taught him how to play the guitar, send me your address and i'll send you a couple in the mail (i mean HRH will - i don't do the post office thing anymore).

Good to hear that he is still there. I gotta call the ol' booger and see what he's up to. Reoville closing is still sinking in. Hey! Maybe we form a petition for him to open it again. At least he would see how much it means to us. He wouldn't have to spend to much time there. The Reonauts usually helped anyway with problems.

1.2 and 1.3 single coils is my setting as well Chili. I'd go to to about 1.1, but I'd have to use 27guage, and really want to stay with 28 guage (6wraps 3/32 bit) since i have a ton of it.

Named for guitar strings (usually the lower 3) that have a wire wrapped around a wire.
Gives the liquid lots of nooks and crannies to get into. But it's a lot of wire to heat up - I do singles or duals, but not thicker wire usually...

I do about 7 to 8 wraps with 28 guage! That is all I have ever learned to do! I use the same coils in my old protank coils! I guess I am Not very adventurous! I am just amazed I have made it this far!
