Hate to point out the obvious, but sometimes thats the best place to start. Be sure your button is not locked. With the door down, you should be able to see the button making contact with the striker. I have also had that striker spin so make sure it is perpendicular to the button or it will not fire- or worse it will always fire (in which case, simply pull the battery). If you must adjust the striker, its easiest to do by taking the bottle off, holding the striker with tweezers and spinning the nipple with toothless pliars back down to catch the striker in the proper perpendicular position (say that 3 times fast!) Hope this helps- I know how frustrating it is when a mod wont work, but luckily, theres only a few things to check on a Reo.
The RM2 was working fine on the woodvils, both of them. Just couldn't get either of the RM8s to work on them. I stuck a piece of paper between the the striker and plate on the yellowheart to make sure it was making contact and it was. For some reason, after that, it started working with the modified RM8 (the button is all the way right on both). I adjusted the 510 grub screw once again and tried that with the the lacewood and the other RM8 and it's working now also. Sheesh. I have to admit I'm still clueless, but they are both working. Thanks for the suggestions. Now I have three working mods.

I honestly think the 5 you have would be plenty. I assume 2 per mod. lol But always good to have extra!

I ordered 4 of the firing pins
I think 5 of everything else.

Last month I sat down and pulled up the website, and made up a list of all the parts and pieces of all my REO's. (Woodvils, Grands, and the 14500 mini's) I wrote down what I thought was a reasonable amount of each, once I was done, I totaled everything up and it came out to around $560.00.
I ended up reducing the quantity on everything, and crossing some things from the list, to come out to about $250.00. That was much better, but I plan on doing it again this month, in order to get the amount I really wanted, and the things I didn't order. It is most likely over kill, but that is just the way I usually do things for everything e-cig related that I buy, get extra parts. I just made the list up myself, I never occurred to me to ask Rob first.KAS
I'm just thinking if this truly ends up to be the doomsday that we've all been fearing, as in, if congress, or none of these lawsuits come through, I just want some cushion.

My spare parts last order came to $120.00, I think that was with shipping though, but I got bottles, and an extra 510 thing. I'm going to pick up another RM2, and of course I didn't think to get extra door magnets, AND, it NEVER occurred to me that I could order an extra door!!
My mod is black, my door is the silver hammertone door, but those brass patina doors are calling out to me.
So...I see another total order creeping upwards.

Yeah the 510 was one of the things, I crossed off my list. I still want a couple of them, with all these parts I could almost build one myself, except for the fact that I have no skills to do so. I got my first REO's about a year ago, and I am still learning, but I know enough to get me by now. My knowledge on the BF atty's is very limited, I bought a bunch of the Chalice III's, and 2 of the Origen O-16'S. I never even tried any of Robs atty creation's, but the RM2's would be a good one for me, and the RM10's look like they would be good for any vaping style. Then of course I would also like to get one of the Brass patina's, and a P67 but I need my parts first.

Well..I googled and flipped tv channels and even stood on my head...and I still can't find it! My cable service really sucks...I have G of T on record for every new eppie..and last night's didn't record...which has happened with many series over the past few months...unfortunately, this co. has my area locked in, the only other option is satellite

Lori...if your Reo is a grand, I have a brass patina door just sitting around lamenting in it's loneliness and non-use....if you want it, it's yours.
