You would really laugh at what I allow outside of the house .
All my "good" stuff is used at home, where they are "safe"
When I'm out, ... it's 4 ego's w/ protanks. If I lose one or drop one (which has happened) I don't cry.
I have a habit of hopping out of the car, forgetting I have one in my lap
When I run into someone who's curious, I really wish I had a "mind blower" with me, but :(
The thing that I am most pleased with is the durability of my Reo's and could never leave the house without one of them!!!

Once I got my 1st Grand, everything else vape related was either sold or relegated to the trash can. Once I found the O16's I use exclusively, all other attys were deemed unusable and met the same fate.

I refuse to vape anything subpar anymore!!!

I started with those also, and I still have them as well, I have not used them in a long time though. I do carry my metal REO's, a couple of Billet box's, and my Provari's out of the house. (not all at the same time) I think I might have to get them out. :)

Any experience with the O16 clones Muzic? Thinking of getting a few as Christmas gifts for smokers I want to convert too vaping..Want to set them up with inexpensive bottomfeeders that work for their first vape setups..maybe stick them on a coppervape mod...

No experience with the clone so can't say. I have to say it was money very well spent on the original though. Can't believe its been a year already since I received them!! There have been some temptations along the way but none were clones I'm afraid to say. What keeps me from straying is I ask myself, can it be possible to be any better than a Reo and O16 combo? The answer is always no in my mind!!!

I would check with Catfish Atty Mods they have a O atty clone up for sale. It's a lot like the 016 but it has a differently shaped airflow hole. FWIW. I think it's around 55 bux.

Raynman's thinking NarDa - that's what the O-atty is similar to...

I have both authentic and clone 0-16's.
Here's some notes -
- it's a great atty for a "restricted lung" hit when wide open
- it's TINY, but I run duals - for your new vapers - are they going to build? Are you going to help? Just sayin' - it's a really tiny deck!
- There are only really two things of note about the clone.
My 510 threads were really tough to thread first time. I FORCED it onto a Reo Grand - which has, of course, tough threads - and from then on, it was fine. Another one I tried was fine from the start - but it's just POSSIBLE that you'd have to do that...
The drip tip is a different, cheaper looking material. I don't use the supplied drip tip anyway - but it's a little translucent compared to the authentic.

Bottom line -
I think the o-16 is a great device, and I'm glad I got an authentic. And the clone seems machined pretty darned well - especially for a gift, I think it's a good choice, as long as they are going to learn building for it...

PS - either one, they DO get pretty hot. At least for me they do - running 'em at 0.5 ohms.

I got a thread die 7mm, .5 metric right. Every new atty gets a run over the threads, smoooooth. My thanks to Rule62 for the tip.

So probably not good for lots of wraps of SS wire and big air lung hits.

Anyone know what Robs RM10 clones?

I tried SS in mine but it didn't last too long. I think it was more me than the atty itself. Just didn't care for the way it heated up. I think the most wraps you could squeeze into the O16 would be maybe 8-9 wraps and still have room for the wicking. As mentioned by Train, it is more of a restricted lung hit than big air lung hit...

The RM10 is a Velocity clone...

I ran duals in mine for quite a while and ran it from .25-.4Ω and it did run quite warm. About 5 months ago I switched to a single Z coil in both and was able to raise them to a .5-.6Ω range also and still get the warmth I desire. There is more room in these than most think when they see pics of them. Very deceiving at first glance...

same here! But if it hadn't been for dancingheretik spotting it, I would have left mine on the table at the restaurant the other day. hopefully they would have given it to the mgr who knows my son and his phone # since he used to be a mgr at that restaurant, but still that was skeery!! I've got a bag it'll fit in......but I need to get some velvety rope stuff to make a thing so I can hang it around my neck!

that would be fantastic if they'd be up for learning to build!! and are interested in vaping.

I wanna be where that first pic is............cept it's prolly really cold there now, so I wanna be in a place like it that is warm!! hehehe Kenna hit it, those look glorious!! I'm loving these pics!!
