Well, the O16 arrived. Nice little atty. Beautifully machined. It reminded me of the old Atomics, although much nicer look.
I was at a loss for what to build on it. It looked like mounting a parallel might be a pain, so I went for a single 26g 316L 2.5mm contact Z coil. I kept it a little conservative, at .5 ohms. Because of the small chamber, I don't think I'd go much lower than that in the future. Also, because of the way the post holes are, I might try a set of duals eventually, a la Nuppin style, with a pair of 2mm coils. But even with the single 26g Z coil, it's vaping pretty nicely. Do I like it as well as the 22mm Hadaly? Not yet. But I like it as well or maybe even a little better than the Nuppin.

Im running the same build i think. 26g 316L at .5 ohns, 2.5mm the only difference is mine is a spaced coil.

It's a nice vape, for sure. I'm also glad I found a use for my 26g 316L. Previously, I hadn't used it much. Most everything else I build is either 28g duals and parallels, or 24g spaced Z coils. But the 26g works well in this. I'm not real fond of the angled orientation of the post holes. But I'll get used to that. I'm probably a little spoiled because of the ease of building the Hadalys.

I got used to it fast, and prefer the postholes over the Stumpys. Cant explain why though. They just work well for a sloth.

Kscout - I am not as jealous of your dirt as I am of your youth. I have managed raised bed gardens on loam, sand and clay. Enough planning and work can bring any soil up to grade. But arthritis is a different story. I just burned off my garden for the last time, and will spend the better days this winter leveling off 1200 sq. ft. from vegetable garden to lawn. 30 year hobby, not counting the years spent in Dad's garden, comes to an end.
On a happier note, my Son should be here within the hour for his Vaping Gear. I will try to get him to view a video review, and maybe read a few threads on the ECF for the Mod he is getting. Then a detailed lesson in coil building.

I'm not real fond of the angled orientation of the post holes.
After several attempts I still couldn't get a decent Z-coil into those crooked post holes.
I finally put the coil to one side & got a simple, decent vape.

Hows the draw compared to the Hadaly? The Little O is pretty restrictive compared to my main units; Maker, Derringer, modded Atomic. Mine is a clone and it may end up in the garage with an appointment with the drill press or Dremel. I had to add a third air hole/slot on my Atomic's but since then they are good.

My O has a .650 Z and is OK. I like the stock drip tip. I could get used to the air flow if I didn't have my other atty's within reach. Will try a spaced .5ohm 316L 26g later.

Oh Papaw, you gotta have at least one bed for Tomatoes. Plant em and mulch em HEAVY and forget em until you see red. Good luck with your son and hope you get your Woodville back from your daughter!

Full open vs full open, the O16 is a tad more restricted than the Hadaly. But not by a lot. I haven't tried the stock drip tip yet. I'm using a MLV Pyrex tip so far. Next build, I'm going to space the coil just a bit. With cotton, I think I get better mileage out of the wick than I do with contact coils.

Scout...what part of N.Mi.? I'm from Onaway, and many years ago, Ossineke. But you don't, of course, have to post it if you choose not to.

Compared to a Nuppin? I haven't cheated on my Nuppins a long time but all this Little 16 talk (and the size!) has me curious. I don't have my Nuppins wide open. I have the turbo-coil (centered high) and both airholes opened half way. 316SS 2.5 .5ohm spaced is where my sweet spot is in the Nuppin. Thanks :)

I'm near the south west side of Burt Lake which I can see if I'm on my roof, lol. Onaway is the middle of no where and love Parrots Sporting Goods, Ocqueoc Falls and a few restaurants out that way! Big country up here but a small world aye.

Ocqueoc Falls is one of my favorite places....except now they've made it into a state Park:( took away all the pristine charm.

You must know of Lorenzo's then! Love that restaurant!
