It's the oil changes that get me, i saw the guy over the road changing his lawnmower oil last week and at first i thought he'd had a heart attack and fallen by it, because both were on their sides. How we laughed.
Most people don't realize there's a plug underneath the mower now for draining the oil!! Its comical to see how some try to drain theirs...
i'm sure it was Harley5 that ( i've not seen for ages) recommended safety razors and worse. So i bought one. Today HRH bought a 'styptic pencil' which i believe is supposed to stop blood. It'll need to. Having grown up in an age of BICs and cartridge razors shaving is 5 or 6 flashes of brilliance and done, this is a different beast.

i thought styptic was a religious sect.
My new habit since I quit vaping!! Amazing how we end up where we began with some things in life. I can't believe I ever picked up a multi-blade razor. I too have a styptic pencil thats never been used... This is my newest acquisition for what I call my daily zen time...

Good Morning Reonauts, and a Special Hello to the Greensboro Girl !
The last time I used a razor, my daughter took one look and said "Grow it back !" Then my wife took one look and said "Grow it back !"
that was over twenty years ago...
Day four of my mini stay-cation. Yard work caught up. Shopping this morning, then oil/ filter changes for both vehicles. I am still stubborn about what oil (Pennsylvania grade) and filter (Fram) that goes on my vehicles.
Then tomorrow it is back to the grind.
I really need to have a long discussion with the people who run that Powerball stuff. Although I am pretty sure they will tell me buying a ticket would help.

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

I remember old houses with built in medicine cabinets that had a slot in the back to dispose of used double edged razor blades. I guess, if you lived in the house long enough, and shaved often enough, you'd eventually fill up the wall with razor blades.

Not even close man... I've done several bathroom remodels in the past and always wondered what those slots were for in the cabinet and then I opened up the wall behind the chest and sink for a complete remodel... I'd say it was probably 50+yrs since it had been first done because it was plaster and not drywall and though I was amazed to find several hundred blades in the wall, it wouldn't have filled a standard sized shoe box!! It was really funny though...

Shaving used to be such a sacred tradition; like a right of passage. I remember how my dad used to buy Palmolive shave cream in a tube, and spread it around his face with a shaving brush. Before that, there was 'shaving soap'. I think he even used a straight razor, at some point. If men wanted to treat themselves, they'd get a professional shave at a barbor shop.

I used to use a mug and brush along with the Gillette single edge blades. Actually miss those days. Now, I use those multi blade things I get from the Dollar Shave Club, but I have to shave at least every other day as those blades clog up so easily.

beautiful! A lot of work to wax it all, but worth it

My son recently bought one of those. Dunno how it's working out for him, since they've been at my dil's folk's house.

I'm with Classy......dunno why they call em safety razors........took a hunk outta my ankle with one of those when I was 13 and had just started shaving my legs.

oh that's kinda kewl! Not so much maybe once ya decide to remodel though

I sported a beard for years, and then shaved all but the moustache for a Movember a few years ago. My wife said I looked like a porn actor (not a star, mind - one of the cheaper background players) so I shaved the 'tache off, too. She then announced that she preferred the porn actor look. Back to the beard, it was.
