I tried those for about a month and the cartridges lasted like 2 shaves... They were horrible and it didn't take long to figure out why its called the "Dollar Shave Club"!!I used to use a mug and brush along with the Gillette single edge blades. Actually miss those days. Now, I use those multi blade things I get from the Dollar Shave Club, but I have to shave at least every other day as those blades clog up so easily.

The best shaving forum out there... They even have a modern shave section and a vaping section!!The other day I was thinking to myself, I wonder if there are any mens shaving forums?
And looky what we have going here in REOVille![]()
Very nice... Gillette Black Handle Adjustable. It amazes me how collectible and expensive old Gillette razors are. There have been some that have sold on eBay for well over $2000. I had a Red Tip and a Slim but really didn't care for how they shaved so I sold them, (for a profit), of course so I could pick up something more modern!!The only razor I've ever owned was built like the Reo & has been dependable for 52 years of use.

I think my son got the one that the guy from pawn stars advertises. Looks like he could carve himself up real good with it. Hope he don't end up being a scar face from it.I tried those for about a month and the cartridges lasted like 2 shaves... No turning leaves yet.
Mum is now walking about a km once or twice a day. She's just nervous about crossing the street without falling or shed go further.

Currently enjoying the Arizona spring - it'll be 95F in a few hours. What a change from the 12C we left last week.
What do you get down to in the pits of winter, Doff? Prolly about 10C or so?
had to look that up of course, but wow that's great. 50 degrees at the coldest would be fantastic! @Doffy what's the hottest it gets there in the summer? What do you get down to in the pits of winter, Doff? Prolly about 10C or so?
I'd love 50° winters! Although, this winter really wasn't much of one. We only had a small handful of freezing nights and cold days. Not complaining at all! And now, rainy times. We had 6" come down yesterday through last night.
