That was announced just days ago, and nothing - not a thing - has changed yet.
And heck, we might see good change - maybe the new folks can try new ways to tap into the recent massive increase in squonking! Reo, frankly isn't getting their fair share of the expanding market.

I've been getting some other mods - and many of them I like. But I use a Reo every single day, and wouldn't trade one for 10 mods that came off a printer...(well, not to USE...maybe to sell, and get more stuff, lol).

Good morning, long time no post.. I recently moved, and I found my (I thought was lost) REO mini packed away in a box.. Which made me want to fire it up again.. I went to pick up a few supplies at the REO site and read the letter that Robert was "semi" retiring.. Are you guys still purchasing from there? Are the new owners keeping up with the REO tradition?

I can't believe the prices I'm seeing people paying for printed mods. It's crazy! 2x the price of a virtually bullet proof REO, and more, for a plastic box. To each their own, I guess.

Me, too! I had on two or three instances where I needed something and called and Rob answered the phone! It was nice the times I got to talk to him. His customer service was second to none.

The day I ran my Grand over with my skidder, I came home and immediately called Robert(first time I ever called him). He answered and I said, "Robert, this is Roger aka bushmaster and I just ran over my Grand with my skidder". He responded, "Hi Roger, I hate it when that happens."
Needless to say, we arranged surgery for the old girl and she works as good as new albeit wearing a good deal of scars. He is a peach of a guy. Its nice that we have this REO thread to kibitz but I miss the old site when Robert would make frequent cameo appearances. Miss him.

Selling a mod in a private, vouches required for admittance, no telephone or email support, Facebook group, does not make it desireable, for me anyway. The vaping market moves so quickly that what seems rare and collectible today, will be worthless next month, when it's broken and needs repair, and there's no customer support.

I know what you mean. We had a regular here that now just hangs with the ultra secret, can only get one if you know someone, sites. Those high dollar, artificially inflated rare items don't do anything for me. I'm not into "looky here what I have that nobody else can get". I'll bet that stuff doesn't vape any better than a plain old Reo or any number of easy to come by mods.

All videos that espouse vaping are good. i don't care what anyone vapes, just that they choose it over burning tobacco. Because then i can torment them longer.

Since i usually call it as i like anyway - super-X made some great videos for Reo users too and a few were stickies if you look.

Too long.. but it's a style. You never sat through one of my grandpa's holiday slide shows (it starts on Good Friday and i want to be crucified by Sunday).

I had apparently missed the part about it having been sold. But yeah IF they keep the same standards of quality and customer service, then it could be a good thing. Especially like you said, now that the BF market is expanding.

JUP! And we always had the lounge in the old forum to kibitz in, just not as many used it toward the end. But yeah, sure do miss that lil porky pine! But hey.......if he's not an owner of it anymore........maybe he'll come spend a lil time with us. One thing is for sure.......he'll have to change his cell # if he wants to totally get away, cuz we've all got it! lol
