There were many reasons why I dropped off ECF when I stopped vaping in 2019.
I took a very long sabbatical and really just got back on to tell folks of the passing of MamaTried (Dennis). I adored him so and thought people would like to know. Been back for a couple of months and it does not feel the same as it did when I first joined ECF.

I have been saddened by the loss of so many wonderful people but like Dennis always said, "It is what it is". I am quite sure it was easier to stop vaping than it was for cigarettes. I know it would be for me if I chose to stop vaping. My family and friends prefer me to keep on tootin'. Congrats to you and great to hear from you. You are definitely one that has a place in the REO Hall of Fame.

Enjoy it.. hopefully whenever someone finds it all they know where to find these forums if still around.

Most likely just sold to the first person on Facebook market for $50 or so cause no one will know what it all is.

I knew some here would not let this subject die. So your jumping in was no surprise at all.

To clarify and put an end to this hopefully... at this late date in my life I could care less about money. I do not sell, donate or ship anything anymore, period. I can't do the physical mechanics of doing them, and dealing with the trolls that are common answering classified ads is enough for me to not want to do it anyway. For months I have been sorting out and tossing out in the trash as many of my things as I can when I can do it. And when I eventually can deal with that storage garage everything in it will be trashed. It's my stuff, I paid for it so it's my right to do whatever I want to with it, period. No opinion from someone else will change that. I don't care if my things never gets used again by forum acquaintance's or strangers, and no one in my family vaped before they all died.

So lets move on please.

I know all this and is why I tried to give ya an easy button on it.. that is all.

Cool.. I don't want to sell my crao either and have a ton of stuff and non ecig related stuff as well.. wifes constantly yells at me about it all.

I don't want to be bothered with it all either.. but I'll use it again is why.

Have a good one.

I too missed some of the folks I knew here, and the comradery that forms when you share common interests with them. But especially those that were on the forum and those that were the owners of the companies that made my gear that I got to know personally off of the forum that were true friends. Besides via email there were a lot of long distance/International phone calls, and some of them that were also met in person. Some of those Int'l owners even invited me to visit there companies at their expense before they knew me better. I sincerely thanked them for their generous offer, but I do my own homework, and I always paid my own way when I had an active life.

I did have some moments helping others on ECF and ECIGSSA, but I was just part of the crowd on both of them.

Hello @Spydro!! So great that you checked in. You often crossed my thoughts and the many ways you helped our Reos family over the years. Part of the reason I am a diehard Reos fans is because of the well-manufactured mods, Rob and crew, AND the other is because of how we help each other out by sharing our knowledge and experience.

Congratulations on stopping vaping! At times, I have the desire but not the willingness. Guess I still enjoy it AND I love not smoking. Thank you for your kind words about my neck of the woods. Yep, even thru fires and floods, I must say that there is nowhere else I would rather live. The Russian River and the Redwoods are deep in my heart. May I never take them for granted! Do you still live outside of Vegas? (If my memory serves me).

And hello to everyone! Sending a big Reos hug to each of you! We are actually getting a bit of that damp stuff tonight....I believe it is called “showers?” Yay for dampness.

I often think of Rob myself. I always wonder what he is up to now and if he is still making beautiful music on his guitars. I loved his videos playing.

When I was growing up I never quite understood what older people meant when they talked about "the good o'l days". I am starting to understand.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Howdy back to you...
My stopping smoking was like falling off a log in our favorite river near you. While I did smoke over a 51 year time it was stop and start at a whim because I was never addicted to nicotine. At most I smoked a pack a day (less when I also smoked pipes for. maybe a 35 year span). I can't give an accurate number of how many years I actually smoked. But I can remember some approximate stop and go's for specific reasons for a number of years. Like when my only child was born and I learned about second hand smoke in the 70's for several years; started again but only smoked outside until my son asked me why I smoked when he was 11 and I stopped for 14 years; and started again for about 10 when I divorced and stopped for good before I had even heard of a thing called vaping. I only vaped from from early 2013 to late 2019, and from the start I made my own liquids without nic in them.

I have lived on the Mojave Desert for over 30 years. And yes, the Capitol of Sin is where I live. We had a nice place in Peccole Ranch when I was married. I let the ranch house that was way too big for just me in Anthem go years ago. But I am still in a ranch area in the city. The devil doesn't want me yet, but when he does I expect to find my life long but long gone old friends are already right here waiting for me. :)

I too hope Rob is having lots of musical fun! I owe him a debt of gratitude for his service to so many of us. I sure don’t miss coughing when I laugh!

Many memories of the Mohave Desert. I was born and raised in San Bernardino and we took many trips out to the Mohave and LV with my grandparents and parents. The vast beauty of the Mohave is breath taking especially in the winter and spring!

For many years, getting bronchitis was just a part of winter for me. I could get rid of it by taking a garlic supplement every hour for a day or two. It worked every time. Of course, I smelled like a pizzeria in the shower.

Since I started vaping in 2013, I have not had bronchitis once and I can't remember the last time I had a cold. The only thing different was my vaping. Go figure.

I just know that I enjoyed my cigarettes. I replaced that joy with vaping and I can't imagine life without it. Now I may feel different one day but. . . not today.

I'll be in Florida next month.. no idea where or when off the top of my head.. haha.. not looking forward to it cause it will only be thr 3rd time on a plane. Prob been 19 years since the last time.. maybe 20. So not looking forward to it.

Wife and daughter set this all up..

All I've seen is pics and it's the tallest resort in the area.

Just point me to the bar and fill the hotel room fridge of beer and give me a sun hat.. oh and where's the food! Haha.. miserable.
