Oh, could anyone let me know why an atomizer would be less preferred than a cartomizer for Wooderman's device? Of course, I would remove the filling from them before use. Or would a regular atomizer with, say, a drip tip be more beneficial for some reason?

Hi Boris,

Actually, just an atomizer and a drip tip is the preferred method with these mods.

The thing with self-juicing box mods is that it is just like dripping an atty, without having to open a bottle, drip it in, and close the bottle back up. This is the reason most mods use 510 connectors, and the preferred attys are LR510 and LR360. If you added the fill for the carto or fill for carts, this defeats the purpose of dripping. All you are wanting to do is wet the coil on the atty with the juice, vape it, and wet it again. No burnt filler material ever. I have heard of people using carts and cartos, but I never have.

There is a learning curve to using the self-juicing box, sometimes the coils are not wet enough and you get a "dry hit", sometimes you add too much juice and find it inside the box,or leaking down the side. However, once you get used to it you know how much to add and how long to vape before adding more it doesn't get any easier or any more satisfying.
