Very Hot New Phidias Pictures on the Phidias Celebration Sale Thread if anyone would like to see.

Thanks Drum for starting this thread and I hope it doesn't become a battleground on models! lol.

My story is similar to others I have read. Heck, at first I didn't even like the idea of black e cig! And, those darn mini's were heavy. A whistle tip --horrors! It all changed very rapidly and I upgraded very rapidly. My only comment about appropriate on newest noobies' section, is posters---watch your terminology----a lot of you have lived the history and it's very simple to you---try and remember what it was like when you were new----and their were 1/10 the choices then!

This is a huge forum and enormous amounts of data for sure and every day learn I more about this place & "the culture" (as well as get trigger happy with my credit card and wish list). lol! vaping Guides site is also great for the noob--loved the "what's happened in 2010 article--helps sort out some of the confusions. And, bunches of the must read and sticky stuff (we often avoid) is very valuable info.

Thanks to all -- happy searching and happy vaping!

FINALLY FOUND SATISFACTION!
I have been vaping for 4 months, and have always felt "something" was lacking. Started as many do with a KR808D-1 set up. I got tired fairly quickly of short battery life, limited cartomizers that were inconsistant, charging, charging and charging! I no longer cared if the device looked like a ciggarette, I needed longer battery life, fuller hits and less hassles. After moving up to an "Ego",and spending considerably more money trying all the various atty/carto types, tanks ect.,still having way too many inconsistancies, I discovered the "least hassles" most satisfying carry&vape.
Enter the" MONKEYBoxx by THE WOODERMAN " Tom, the creator is a newer "craftsman" too our choices of custom made "wood" bottom feeders. He offers a piece of art,at competative or lower cost. His products are well built, pleasing to look at and use. His creativity and innovation has led too the latest and I believe "only" Variable Volt, LED screen- wood mod on the market.
Now,I walk out the door with 1 item in my pocket capable of getting me through the day with battery duration and juice. The ego led me to dripping, and dripping to the world of all the wonderfull flavors of juice available. FINALLY simplicity and variety!
I would reccomend to all to check into:MONKEYBoxx

Hi Drum! Where have you been? Missed seeing you on the boards. :)

I've been looking in and waiting for the Eclipse EQ and saving my money up. I mean I've found a great PV in the REO so in the meantime and while waiting for the Eclipse, I have been saving money. Too much of the ECF can be bad for the wallet so some times you have to save up a bit. LOL

Totally understand. I have noticed that my obsessive purchasing has finally calmed down now that I have two REOs and a nice collection of batteries and atomizers. It is OK because I'm NOT smoking, and will work out in the long term, but short term has been a bit tough on the wallet.

Hmmmm. I should change my signature block to "haven't saved a cent, and don't care."

So I just ordered the last Reo Mini available! I'm pretty fired up about it. The ordering process was confusing though. There was no option to specify atty connection and no batteries or charger available for purchase. No info about battery type, etc.... Do I have to buy this stuff elsewhere?

The REO Mini has a standard 510 connection.

You will need 14500 protected batters. Rob recommends the IMR or High Drain but standard protected will work.
and you will need a Charger. Here is a list of places to pick your stuff up.

Charger: Ultrafire WF-188 Charger for 14500 / 17500 / 18500 / 18650 / RCR123 3.7 volt Lithium Battery Charger

Battery's: High Drain, AW IMR 14500 LiMN Rechargeable Lithium Battery

Battery's Protected, AW 14500 Protected Rechargeable Lithium Battery

When you get your post count up feel free to drop in to the REO Thread and post any questions you may have.

Grats on your purchase. I came close to ordering that myself, but decided to wait since I already have my grand. It would have been a pure want rather than a need for me. To answer your question, check out this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...if-reo-your-first-mod-what-you-will-need.html
You will need to order batteries and have an atty available. I suggest you order them asap to have them available. I will warn you that customer service from reosmods is excellent so if you haven't already ordered the batteries, your reo may arrive before the batteries do. The REO comes with a standard 510 connection, but there are adapter available if you prefer something else.

When everyone has been pushing eGos & Rivas I have been suggesting mods. I tell them I started with a simple 510 kit and YES it was the beginning of my every last cigarette, BUT after that 510 I needed/wanted more cause something wasnt quite right. Then the floods doors opened..next XL 510 then multi charger for 510s then egos..egos with carto ...egos with tanks each time getting better and better...more$$....more$$. Next step a inexpensive selfjuicer a Mr. Puffer (2 types of them) then the Wetbox. Now things got way better and better and more$$...more$$...Finally took the leap and spent the big bucks on the hi-end selfjuicer REO. Btw when i do mention mods on noobies threads I dont mention a brand...just so you know and if other veterans dont like then TFB!!!!!

If I had all the money spent that led me to this point I could buy each and everyone on these 60 pages a cheap 510

Amen to that! Between FDA scares and the search for nirvana, I've spent a ton of money. Since I got a REO Mini last fall, I look at most new developments now and think "meh". I have 3 REO's now, 2 Mini's and a Grand. In reality, I don't need more than one of them, but enjoy the luxury of having all 3 loaded up with different flavors. 3.7 volts with non-proprietary batteries, all-mechanical simple design that even I can fix if necessary, a reliable and easy feed system, built like a tank - couple that with good-quality low-res atty's and you're golden.
