Just 2 month to wait and it is the first birthday of the shockwave payment !!!
I am in a bad day on this subject, ... One moth ago, I was really believe that I can get it at the end of january 2013.
May be I was stupid, It was not the first time I was sure that The mod will arrive.
Now I am more in the mood, what incident will arrive and postpone this 6 weeks pre-order Mod of 4 more weeks.

I know it sucks, but the things that have happened are mostly out of anyone's control, also I am sure that the frustration we have experienced about this is miniscule compared to what David has. The Shockwave has gone over budget by more than 7000 dollars, if not more and that has to be very frustrating. I am pretty sure that the refund offer is still on the table, although at this point, the shockwave is more of an investment for the buyer We are painfully close and it will get there.

I sent an email to the platers for an update this morning and will let you know what they say back. I suggested to them if they think the Rhodium will again not adhere properly, that we could go with Palladium (another Precious metal in the Platinum group) or Gold plating. I can't delay this any longer. The Plunger Cup and the thread plunger retention ring are already Rhodium plating, (as are the top center post and the bottom battery post), but we may have to go with precious metal on the plunger if they don't think they can make the Rhodium adhere. Palladium and Gold aren't as good durability wise as Rhodium, but the plunger doesn't take alot of abuse, so it will be fine there if we need to go that route. I'll keep you updated.

Im looking at it more like an investment in a 1 year certificate of deposit thats now close to maturity date... the intrest alone is worth more than the inital investment

Palladium and Gold aren't as good durability wise as Rhodium, but the plunger doesn't take alot of abuse, so it will be fine there if we need to go that route. I'll keep you updated.

P.S. David I can wait for Rhodium....

Just an FYI on Shockwave, we are far enough along in prepping the bodies, we can no longer accept any changes in Finish type. You are locked into what is on your order at this point. Refunds can be given, no questions asked if you are not happy with any aspect of your current order, including finish type, wait or number. We are completely through 83 bodies (meaning they are completely finish prepped, just need the switche assemblies put in them, which is held up due to the previously mentioned plating snags) and we are working on the final 30 or so bodies that are left.

Last month I thought it is for next week and and other miss. May be I'm just sad because I don't have my Skockwave ...
I don't understand that a 6 weeks project may delay by 4 weeks each time. For me the only one problem was resolve during the last summer. After it was just usual production ...
My shockwave is not an investment, it is just the first Mod I bought. I don't want to quit
I just want the tracking number !!! I will believe that the shockwave is a reality just at that time !!!!

For me it's always been " i guess sometime during the next 3 weeks " when people ask me about the Shockwave.
It doesn't really matter now, i wanted one since i've seen the prototype pictures about 2 years ago, nothing would change my mind about getting one. I don't part with my mods and i have a tendency to buy "yeah, only 100 made / yes, only 15 of those with VV circuit / only 10 left in pristine condition " , so it will certainly make me very happy to own one.

I haven't lined up the numbers with the orders and actually won't until i physically am putting them into their boxes to ship, but i can tell you you are around approximately 40 based on when your order came in.
