This has become almost ridiculous.

Ummmmm.... Tea-time bump!

It was past ridiculous 6 months ago! Anything and everything that could go wrong to prevent the Shockwave from seeing the light of day has happened! If it makes anyone feel any better, the cost of production has now exceeded $300 per unit OUR cost....We are determined to see it through!

David, I'd never consider waiting for a one-of-a-kind, limited-run, super-t-special mod to be a waste of time. I meant the bumps are becoming ridiculous. As for the patience and perseverance of you and your team, how could we ever grow impatient considering that we're all in our comfy homes simply waiting for the product to arrive, while you're the ones going through all the hustle determined to see it through to the end regardless of the fact that this is a lost cause from an economic perspective. Cheers to all of you and to all the rest - stop bumping people while they work! Imagine if someone would be constantly poking your doctor while he were doing heart surgery on you. Okay, it's not that serious, but still. You get the picture

Well, gee, David, think of all the money and time I could have saved you and your customers. Afterall, I did offer to do all the soldering on the Shockwaves for free.8-o You turned me down, cold. Hmmm...Wonder why??? hahahaha.

Well pardon me and my excitement. I see a bump like a text message instead of a phone call. Not something that makes you stop doing what you're doing, just check real quick and respond when you can. But hey, that's just my :2c:.

No, you're right. It's just that the "XY bump" was starting to get silly. It was just a matter of time before people started posting:

Lunchtime break bump!
Toilet break bump!
Midnight whizz emergency bump!
Kangaroo covered in jam bump!

I think a kangaroo covered in jam should be considered a worthy bump. :p

I'm surprised you didn't post a "no new tale to tell" YouTube video.

I think I'll give snork and Julia a break for a while from blowing up their phones. Also, you've gotten to know my tastes pretty well, but I had to look that up. Never was big on Love and Rockets and only a mild Bauhaus fan.

Wow. i almost feel guilty buying it at the price i paid. If i can do anything to help absorb some of the loss ill gladly help. Basically we are paying $200 for a mod that cost you $300+, and will be worth $500 as soon as we get it.

I don't know squat about machining, but that looks state of the art and EXPENSIVE! David's gonna have some fun and we're gonna be able to benefit from that as well.

Kangaroo covered in jam bump LOL

All this waiting for a 26mm mod does is make me go out and buy other 26mm mods to use the batteries I already have! So far I killed 2 AW 26500 batteries with shorts. Due to improper fit and using magnetic spacers which slide and complete circuit and short battery and burn my hands and more importantly ruin my mods!

So I bought a Kicklet which will come with Shockwave order so no more use of slippy slidy 26500 and kicks!! Although it is going to make for very interesting mods due to their lengths. Anyway doesn't matter all that matters is that an AW 26500 battery is a terrible battery to be wasted! Lets all lower our heads for the lose of these rare never to be seen again batteries!!

What I'm doing is using a Vapesafe as a spacer when one is absolutely necessary. So far I've burned out one vapesafe and saved the batteries and/or Kick. It's a little cheaper than replacing batts.

Ugh David, I am sorry, I honestly feel bad that this happened, I guess this will be motivation to kick out new products like never before :) So, isnt the norm for retail, doubling the price, so retail shockwave $600.00 wowza

Yeah I tried a 2 cent fuse but there was still enough wiggle room that every so often the mod wouldn't fire so used larger spacer battery! I know better as its the chance you take as you screw top half on with kick and ring. Maybe what I could do if I can find thinner spacer magnets is place it on magnet of fuse! Damn that makes more sense thanks siouxsie for firing up the old grey matter I will give this a try!!
