I'd like to thank Vapor DNA customer service,
After letting them know that my insulator melted they connected me with one of their technical guys that assured me he never heard of it and built few of them to test and they will replace my unit as soon as they get a new shipment.
So bottom line they kept me happy and positive and hope for the best with the new unit, one thing for sure, I'm going to place these coils as high as it can get.

Can I use the Kayfun Quartz Glass Full Tank, with the SilverPlay chimney, and top cap?

The Silverplay chimney threads into the top cap, and the quartz full tank is too long for it. Sorry.

Nice! I hope you are aware that you can use the full M tank with Silverplay chimney and Kayfun topcap. All I had to do was take the o-ring out of the Kayfun top cap drip tip hole, and place it around the top of the Silverplay chimney. That's how I have it set up currently, except I have an aftermarket Kayfun top cap that has larger diameter hole that closely matches the stack diameter of Silverplay chimney. Massive air flow for RTA I tell ya!
All the nit-picking aside, my biggest gripe with the Silverplay so far is the small deck and how it limits my coil building options. I've become so used to macro coil builds on Big Buddha deck that I guess I need some re-adjustment period to get used working on smaller, or regular decks.
Man that Big Buddha deck is a thing of beauty. Because of its deck design, huge flat quad post, your build options are limited only by your imagination. Here is one build, 20g G-plat on 1/8th drill bit.

Not true exactly. The SP top cap threads into the SP chimney. It holds it's glass tank in place with an o-ring and the compression of securing the top to the chimney. There might be a glass option that allows the use of "a" Kayfun quartz kit with the SP chimney and top cap... i have a bunch of other Kayfun parts doing in along with two different quartz kits. I'll check back with some specs when more stuff arrives.

I've got a nano kit coming also. I may have to lower my nic again with the 4mm chimney I'm using. The vapor is dense and super flavorful but a bit more concentrated than with the bigger SP chimney. Wow! Since 2009 I'll have come down from 24mg nic to 3mg-Nice!!!!

Oops, yes, that's what I meant. Fixed.
I've been tinkering a bit with standard Kayfun full/nano quartz kits, and the diameter of the glass is exactly same as the Silverplay top cap, and it will require some special gasket or o-ring in order to make the seal even if you somehow made the top cap tread onto the chimney...
And another concern with the quartz kit is the fact that the bottom ring of the kit that threads onto the deck base COVERS half of the juice channel, and it might affect the juice flow. But that's just a speculation since I have not been able to actually get the quartz kit to fit on Silverplay deck.
Speaking of which... I never actually tried to fit the nano kit on it. Off to the lab!

I stripped mine down to check the insulator and no burn on it. I rebuilt with a simple 27g 2.2mm 10 wrap dual setup and I actually like it better than the tiger wire I was running... Really odd as the kayfun kills with the tiger wire. Flavor is good and Vapor production is excellent.
thanks snow blind. I've been holding fast at 6mg for about a year now but I'll jump at the chance to lower it as long as I get the satisfaction from the vape I'm used to. The flexability of this silver play is changing things up for the better. I hadn't used my kayfun in a looong time since getting used to lung inhales and it's nice to get the powerful flavor with the much looser draw and stellar vapor production. Thanks for all the info on this thread and the other.

I'm going to give VaporDNA a shout out for their customer service also. I'd been having issues with a leak from where the glass contacts the oring under the topcap from time to time as the glass didn't seem to fit quite right (about 1mm too small) and would shift side to side even with the topcap tightened down. After sending Diane a few pics and her forwarding them to the technicians, it was decided to be a manufacturing defect. Diane issued me a store credit for the cost of the unit as I'm probably just going to pick up another Lemo drop. After a few builds over the past few days, I can say that in my experience, this tank had good vapor production, it is easy to build on (even with the smallish deck), and decent flavor. I will not say the build quality was lacking as obviously most people don't have the issue with the seal under the topcap.

It's kind of a blow to the ego that people are saying it's easy to build on cause I'm struggling. Granted, I'm new to rebuilding in general but I rebuilt my Lemo tonight with no problems. Rebuilt my Magma clone tonight with no problems. Couldn't even get this one going. Any tips? I think I'm struggling more with installing the coils. I watched some videos and tried pre-bending the leads. When I initially get the leads through the post holes everything's fine. But once I start trapping them... game over man, game over. One lead ends up twisted over the coil. The one time I thought I had success I took a closer look and the coils weren't centered over the air holes and one more than likely would have shorted against the chimney. Tried fixing them up but ended up having to scrap the build. I'm at my wits end but I don't want to just completely give up so any advice would be appreciated.
Once your leads are through the post holes, pull them extremely tight through the holes and let the coil touch the block (with your screwdriver or w/e coiling device still in the coil to avoid it getting bent). Bend the leads to keep the wire from trying to back out while you tighten the screws down. Then, pull/position the coil off the block and as close to centered as possible over the airhole. Clip the leads.
Wash, rinse and repeat on the otherside.
Prebend. I prebend everything thicker than 28g. It takes some getting used to but then you'll have no problems when it comes time to tighten down your coils. I also always have a mandrel in each coil and tighten both at the same time keeping them equidistant with my mandrels.
Running the kayfun bell nano tank on mine with ni200 build dual coil 14 wrapped around 2.5mm
It's everything I've wanted out of my orchids and more! Best part is I had all these parts in my kayfun drawer already
